This is your daily horoscope for Thursday, August 14th 2025. Around 6am, the moon enters Taurus and around 10am, the moon in Taurus forms a square with Pluto and Aquarius. This is a little spicy. This can kick up some of our insecurities, our fears. It can put us face to face with our shadow side and parts of ourselves that we tend to ignore or reject. This is also a moment where you might be clinging to the past or the future. It's more difficult to live in the present moment. This is an invitation to get familiar with the concept of surrendering, releasing control. You might have to deal with power struggles in your personal relationships around you at work. Maybe you're dealing with jealousy or obsessive thoughts. This is a reminder to be curious about any of these insecurities or feelings that are emerging. Maybe it is an opportunity to engage in your own healing journey in a new way. Sometimes this can also coincide with a cathartic moment or even a feeling of empowerment, so it's not all bad. Now, around 3 pm, the moon in Taurus will form a square with Mercury and Leo.

This can be a time where communication is overwhelming. Maybe you're getting multiple calls at the same time. Maybe you're a part of a ton of text threads. Maybe you have to send out a million form emails for work and you just feel like everybody's trying to talk to you all at once. Or maybe you're under pressure to make a decision. Or maybe you're just having some sort of disagreement with someone, or you are having a period of overthinking. Your mind can be extra active around this time. You can also just be busier in general. So just take that with you for the afternoon and try to listen to your body, try to say no and set boundaries if you need to, and just know that you don't have to answer everyone right away at once. You know, get back to people when you can. Obviously, if there's someone that is in a emergency or a situation that requires your immediate attention, you can prioritize them, but just know that in general, this might be a time where communication is an extra focus and you might feel a little bit scattered, but don't worry, because around 7 pm, mars and Libra is going to form a sextile with Mercury and Leo. Now this is taking place at five degrees.

Now this is extra important to note because this aspect is repeating on Sunday, august 17th, and that is because Mercury is still regaining speed from the retrograde, so it's not moving at its maximum capacity, but it's going to catch up with Mars and then, as it continues to go faster in the sky because Mercury does move quicker than Mars it's actually going to meet up and catch up with Mars one more time on Sunday. So this means that events, topics, conversations, ideas that come up and take place on the 14th are going to be directly tied to events, topics, ideas and conversations that unfold on the 17th. So you can think of this as a two-part play part or a two-part play. And this is the first act. So Mercury is your mind, it's communication, it's ideas and Mars is action. So this is a great time to not only come up with bold ideas, but to have the confidence and the courage to act on them. Now, in the moment, you are making a lot of progress. This is a great time to send the flirty text. This is a great time to send the elevator pitch. This is the time to put yourself out there and to know that there is just movement and support in the sky to help you reach that next level of whatever it is or whoever it is that you desire.

Aries, when Mercury forms a sextile with Mars, the energy is lively and passionate. This is a great day for having fun. It's a great day for telling a crush you have a crush on them. It's a great day for flirting, for sexy encounters, for receiving DMs that feel exciting, whether that does have to do with your romantic life, or even a potential creative opportunity. This energy is great for taking action on some of your creative ideas, for finding a creative partner or collaborator or a new client that just feels really aligned. In general, things are moving forward and this is just a wonderful day for connection and having fun with the important people in your life in those one-on-one relationships.

Taurus when Mercury forms a sex tile with Mars, the energy is great for getting things done. You can cross things off your to-do list, you're feeling grounded in the process and you could also receive help from loved ones along the way. This is also a great time to get little tasks done around the house that you've been putting off, whether it's like cleaning your baseboards or doing a deep clean of the fridge. Cleaning and having an intention to wipe away the past, any limiting beliefs, thoughts, cycles, patterns that no longer serve you can be incredibly powerful and magical today. This is also great energy for shifting your own patterns and your behaviors as well. You are feeling motivated to make changes.

It's a great day for romance, so getting back on the apps or updating your app, asking a friend to set you up, attending a community event, putting yourself out there, is going to lead to lucky or positive situations today, so this is your moment to take a risk. You are also full of creative inspiration, so you are better able to funnel that energy into your projects and your passions. It's also possible you are making developments on some of your plans or ideas and you're feeling excited about what comes next.
