This is your daily horoscope for Monday, August 25th 2025. Around 1.30am, mercury's post-retrograde shadow period in the sign of Leo finally ends. This is taking place at 15 degrees, so if you have any planets or placements around 15 degrees of the fixed signs, you will feel this relief the most intensely. This just means that Mercury has stopped tracing over the degrees that it traveled through during the retrograde. So, moving forward, we're completely done with our Mercury retrograde stories. We're not fixing anything or crossing our T's or dotting our I's. We're done with that retrograde story once and for all. So you can expect any lingering issues or miscommunications to kind of clear up and maybe you are feeling just a little bit more confident and decisive.

Now, around 7 am, the moon in Virgo forms a sextile with Venus in Cancer. This is a wonderful way to wake up. Venus is a planet of connection and relationships and the moon is your inner self and your needs. So this could look like waking up to a sweet text message. Maybe someone surprises you in some way. Maybe you have some hot sex in the morning, maybe you have really good sleep and it feels nourishing and recharging. Maybe you wake up and you have a creative idea or you're focused on something you're passionate about. This is also a wonderful opportunity to care for yourself and others and to embody your values. Now also, around 7am, the moon will enter Libra and around 8am, the moon in Libra will form an opposition with Saturn and Aries. When the moon forms an opposition with Saturn, this can bring up some disappointing energy, some stressful energy. Maybe there's a responsibility that pops up. Maybe you're feeling under pressure at work or in a key relationship, perhaps you need to set a boundary, or maybe you're recognizing your own limits.

Now, around 9.30 AM, venus moves into Leo. Venus is the planet of connection, our values and desires, and when it moves into Leo, we want the PDA, we are focused on our self-expression. We're connecting with our inner child and our inner teen. This is the type of energy where it gives you a little bit of confidence to go after who and what you desire. Leo also leads with the heart. So, when it comes to your values, your beliefs, your understanding of the world around you, rely on your heart. Speak from the heart. Leo is bold, courageous and confident and stands up for think of the strength card in the tarot, that is Leo's card stands up for what matters most.

We are moving through a time of polycrisis here in the United States and all across the world. We know there are ongoing genocides in Congo and Sudan, and they are not getting as much media coverage because of the inherent anti-blackness and supremacy culture that is embedded into our societies and these systems of oppression. There are many organizations that you can donate to. Focus Congo is one, so check it out. Try to do your best with your words, your actions, to make a difference. Boycott the new iPhone OMG, that makes all the difference, for the ongoing genocide in Congo is not made, actively helps the end of child slavery and enslavement that is taking place in the Congo. They are using children in these incredibly dangerous mines to get and extract the resources from the earth that are then used at these big tech companies like Apple and Google. This is something small that you can do on your part to decrease the demand for this product and buy a refurbished phone. It really, really makes a difference.

Stephanie Campos:

Venus also has to do with our finances and how we invest our finances. Boycotting and divesting is a powerful tool. Money, unfortunately, is power in capitalism and you have the ability to really leverage how you use your resources. So there's no such thing as perfectionism. You don't have to focus on a 100% of boycott all the time if you're not able for whatever reason, because I know that there are circumstances and places in the world where the only food is available at Target or at Walmart or whatever it may be. But if and when possible, divestment is key. If and when possible, buy refurbished. All of these choices matter Now.

Stephanie Campos:

Starting Thursday, august 21st and continuing every Thursday thereafter, there is going to be a global strike for Gaza or Palestine. We are calling on groups, organizations, unions and people everywhere to join the strike for Gaza. So what does this look like? It looks like disrupting retail and transactions, fuel and transport, financial flow and changing the market signals. So when people spend money directly, that shapes the economy. And by withdrawing our spending together, even for a single day, we are creating a visible and measurable disruption that sends a powerful signal.

Okay, around 10 am, the moon in Libra forms a trine with Uranus in Gemini. This is going to feel exciting, liberating new ideas, solutions come through, new invitations, last minute invitations. You're feeling lit up by conversations, community. This is inspiring and energizing energy and it can encourage you to take a risk as well. Now also, around 10 am, a little after this, the moon in Libra will form an opposition with Neptune in Aries. This is going to make you feel a little sleepier. You could feel a little bit more sensitive. Maybe you're feeling uncertain. Maybe there's some sort of miscommunication that takes place, maybe you miss an appointment. There's a little bit of a Mercury retrograde kind of vibe. So just pay attention, double check your schedule, drink extra water and also give yourself permission to slow down and even check out.

Around this time. It's temporary energy because around 11 am, the moon in Libra forms a trine with Pluto in Aquarius, and this is a feeling of empowerment. So maybe you are processing and moving and alchemizing some of the feelings and energy that came up earlier in the day. This is a great moment to deepen some of your relationships. It's great for research of all kinds and it's also great to shift and change your own habits, patterns and behaviors around this time as well. And finally, around 6 pm, venus and Leo forms a trine with Saturn and Aries, and this is happening at zero degrees, and it's really great for stabilizing your relationships and your creative desires. So this can be great for commitments, making commitments, signing contracts, for expressing and discussing boundaries in a healthy and receptive way. There's some element of stability, grounding and creating form, and this is, I would say, since it's coming through in the element of fire, passion, your creativity. Maybe you are bringing some of those desires to the tangible world and staying consistent with a goal you had for yourself, a skill you've been wanting to learn, or a shift or change in your own habits, or a shift or change in your own habits. Maybe you are really finding a groove and feeling more committed to some sort of piece of the puzzle that will bring you closer towards your dream life.
