Hello Laura, hello Stephanie and hello everybody. Thank you for being here. Yeah, welcome to September. Unbelievable Crazy. So how was August for you, steph?
Speaker 2:August was a blur. I was just telling you before we started recording that I really can't remember, I mean, and we had Mercury retrograde in Leo and it traveled over a bunch of my planets, but I think it's been really busy like revamping, retooling, and, yeah, I have some exciting things to share that came out of the retrograde, as do you.
Speaker 1:Yes, and last month's forecast. We were together and a lot of a lot of our viewers express how much they love seeing us together. So, um, unfortunately, I came back to my coast, but we're just putting it out into the universe that we get to do more of these in person.
Speaker 2:Yes, yes, it will happen, it will happen.
Speaker 1:So should we get to the recap of August? August was well, we're still technically in August as we're filming this, but a lot happened. But first things first.
Speaker 1:I wanted to just mention one thing that happened in July, because we recorded this on July 24th, which was the new moon, and we didn't really this didn't really come up in our conversation, but it was just funny looking back, because on July 23rd there was a Venus in Gemini Square, mars and Virgo transit that Stephanie specifically said ew to, and I don't think you, like, really understood what you were foreshadowing, but that was the day that Sidney Sweeney and American Eagle launched their genes are passed down from generation to generation, their eugenics campaign. Yes, and I thought that was so like the chaos of Venus and Gemini and Mars and Virgo, like the mutable signs, right, and both of them were being ruled by that Mercury retrograde, and so I'm even wondering if they're kind of going to backtrack in. I mean, it's still up, right, yeah, yeah, but yeah, just Venus ruling things like beauty and clothing, and then, I don't know, with it being square to Mars and Virgo, it just being really messy, messy drama.
Speaker 1:Drama. So it's interesting that that happened and then a month later, Gap released a collaboration with Cat's Eye that was like the opposite of that.
Speaker 2:Oh my gosh, and killed it, and killed it, and crushed it. If you have not seen that ad like it is phenomenal, phenomenal.
Speaker 1:And I think just the timing of the Cat's Eye video. I mean, obviously they had to have worked on that for months beforehand. They probably didn't even know about the American Eagle ad, but I think the timing of this release with Cat's Eye on that for months beforehand they probably didn't even know about the American Eagle ad, but I think the timing of this release with Cat's Eye and Gap was just so synchronistic because it came out after the Sydney Sweeney ad and I think the astrology was also just better.
Speaker 2:Mercury was direct and, yeah, it felt like a continuation of mercury's retrograde right and these, like the gene drama, definitely the gene drama, which is very genes are very americana, brought up a lot of stuff.
Speaker 1:So on august 1st the corporation for public broadcasting, which funds npr and pbs, said that it will close down after federal cuts. So these are tv shows like sesame street, which, if you grew up watching sesame street, was supposed to be a show for, like, inner city kids. It was an accessible show to teach inner city kids about, like, teach them about stuff.
Speaker 2:And then I thought, yeah, I'm just looking at the day in our honeycomb planner and that was the day Venus formed a square with Saturn.
Speaker 1:Yeah, that's interesting because Uranus so we were talking about this in terms of Uranus, uranus's transit through Gemini, because Uranus had just entered Gemini in July, and so we're at like the first degree of it and we're getting a taste of what this might be about. And I think this was two forecasts ago, in the July forecast you had mentioned, this was the beginning of the last Uranus and Gemini. 84 years ago was the beginning of television broadcast.
Speaker 2:Yeah, and so we're going to see that completely shift and change which we've seen with the cancellation of Colbert's show right Fascism, alive and Well, and now this with NPR and PBS.
Speaker 1:Yes, this is a bad thing. By the way, yes, people always ask me, is this good or bad? And I'm like, well, there's no such thing as good or bad, but I would say this is bad. This is bad. Yes, moving on, on August 7th, mars ingressed into the sign of Libra and we had that grand air trine between Mars and Libra, pluto and Aquarius and Uranus and Gemini, and this was such a weird day.
Speaker 1:Meta updated their app and included maps that featured sharing your location with people that you follow and people who follow you, and it was just so creepy, it was so big tech trying to infiltrate your privacy and sharing your location, and the first day it came out, people didn't know about it.
Speaker 1:So, literally, I have a screenshot of all the people that I follow, like even public figures, like Zoran Mamdani, and like where he was located. This is so dangerous because obviously there are people who are being targeted by ICE and also just assassination attempts, I want to say, and it was just really scary, on the same day, apple announced that they would give 100 billion investment in US manufacturing, in addition to the $500 billion that was announced in February $600 billion. I just was like what the heck? And we're going to talk more about this in terms of the Congo, because on August 11th, apple announced the iPhone 17 that is going to be released on September 9th, which is the day after the eclipse. Right and again, this is like Uranus and Gemini mixed with Pluto and Aquarius Whenever there's an invention or innovation.
Speaker 1:Whenever there's an invention or innovation, it's at the cost of people's lives. There's a genocide happening in the Congo. If you didn't know, these minerals that they use to make electronic devices like iPhones and iPads are illegally mined in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, so there's no need to buy new technology.
Speaker 2:You don't have to all the time I think, yeah, I think so many people wonder like how can I help, you know? Or you feel helpless. It's like something you can do. That's very simple is boycott these new products and always buy refurbished. It's really not that hard to buy a refurbished phone, a refurbished computer. It saves lives and every life matters. But I think it is also important to name that there are over 40,000 children that are doing child enslaved labor, mining for these minerals in the Congo. No one should have to mine for these minerals. This is also extraction of earth and resources too, Like there are so many levels and layers to this and it does matter. And Congo is the second biggest rainforest in the world and trees filter our oxygen and CO2. So, anyways, the list goes on and on. But this really matters and you can make a difference. So boycott Apple.
Speaker 1:Yes, it just makes me so angry. But, um, the very next day, on August 8th, mars and Libra opposed Saturn retrograde in Aries at one degree, and I think I mentioned this last month that we would see something happening with Israel and Gaza, and Israel, vis-a-vis Milikowski, announced that they will take full military control over Gaza. This is like a nice way of saying that they are trying to complete the final solution of the Holocaust in Gaza. They are announcing it at this point. They're not even hiding it anymore, right?
Speaker 2:They're just using different marketing words.
Speaker 1:Yes, To make it more palatable. And this impacts Israel specifically because it has a Libra rising chart and we were kind of worried about this right with Venus and Jupiter also in cancer in Israel's 10th house. So that happened On August 9, there was a full moon in Aquarius and there is a. They announced that the global Sumud flotilla would sail again on August 31st and over 44 countries would participate. So essentially like the freedom flotilla, times 40.
Speaker 2:Yeah, and you know what I? I love that you marked this in the notes because it is so Aquarian right. Aquarius is about the collective and we have 44 countries coming together to be like no end the occupation and the Holocaust. Yes.
Speaker 1:And at this point Saturn and Neptune are we're retrograde already, but Saturnptune were still together in aries and the block like removing the not removing but trying to remove the blockade. The siege in gaza is very saturn and neptune it's the dissolving of boundaries and borders, and also neptune being humanitarian aid and and Saturn in its fall in Aries is kind of like fuck the establishment. We're just going to go and I actually read the Geneva Convention, the treaties, and these flotillas are protected in international waters, actually an occupation. It's illegal for an occupation to block humanitarian aid they're committing so many war crimes so many war crimes, it's like I've lost count at this point.
Speaker 1:Yeah, they'll be held accountable as, and so it is, and so it is.
Speaker 1:I was like trying to say something that would not get us um flagged yes on august 11th, mercury went direct in leo at four degrees and venus and cancer was conjunct jupiter and cancer at 14 degrees. So at the mundane we also predicted that all these countries with cancer placements would do something terrible, and unfortunately that was the day that the Israeli occupation executed a Nas al-Sharif, who was a beloved journalist in Gaza, and apparently they had been hunting him down and telling him that they were going to target him.
Speaker 2:He got an offer four days before they executed him. They said if you stop reporting, we'll get you out, you can leave, and I think even his family they offer you know he told his brother this and that's how we, we know this as his brother, this and that's how we know this is his brother talked to news sources and organizations and let them know. So this was a deliberate execution of a well-known journalist and this also, like he has millions of followers, like he was very, very well known and Israel still decided to do it because they thought that that getting you know some grief or whatever, nothing really for that, um, would it would be worth you know, worth it Like they, they just it's, it's insane. I felt this was. It's so interesting and this is like where I grapple personally with like personal horoscopes and astrology and doing my daily horoscope, because it's like Venus was conjunct cancer. You're supposed to feel like this is the luckiest day in the world and this is a horrific war crime.
Speaker 1:Horrific, yeah, yeah, because when it's in a nation's chart it's going to express what it's going to express for that, what their intentions are right. That's why I say you can't really say good or bad in these transits, because of course in our personal life you want to use this, the exalted Jupiter, with another benefic. But when it's used like this in also the United States, it has a natal Jupiter and Venus in cancer, and that was the day the orange man deployed the National Guard in DC. So there is this nationalistic, protecting our own people kind of vibe to Venus and Jupiter in Cancer. I just thought it was really like effed up that Mercury was going direct that day in Leo at four degrees, and Israel's natal moon is at four degrees of Leo, so it's stationed direct on the moon, which is also ruled. It rules that Venus and Jupiter. And again, I think they did that because he was such a beloved journalist and they didn't want the people, they didn't want him to report on what was happening next, what Israel would do next?
Speaker 2:Exactly, it would be worse for them to have him report on the final solution in Palestine versus them getting some criticism for murdering and executing a beloved journalist, which is insane, like this was. This was a low, like I got to say, I think a lot of this month for me. Like I told you, I don't remember, I think there was just a lot of grief.
Speaker 1:A lot of like just shock, just so shocked that somebody who you watched for two years two years I would watch this man because he reported on the ground what was happening and all of a sudden, one day he's gone. And at first, when they were like there were rumors or it wasn't confirmed, but the journalist tent in front of the, I think, hospital, al-aqsa hospital, and I was like there's no way that they would target somebody so well-known. And then you start listening to his videos and his last letter that he wrote that felt very Mercury direct in Leo. He probably was gonna enter his saturn return. He was only 28.
Speaker 1:He was born and raised in jabalia refugee camp. He's never left the gaza strip. This is all he's ever known is occupation. So it was really really sad. I was like going down a spiral, dark spiral during that day. It's really really sad, um, so we hope that all of y'all continue on anaz and all the reporters and all the journalists in guzza like their work. 270 now journalists have been murdered for telling the truth. So we hope that by us sharing this, that you take a responsibility for some of the burden that these Palestinians are going through.
Speaker 2:Yes, Use your voice, call your representatives, show up to protests. Read a book. There's many, many, many, many, many ways to get involved.
Speaker 1:Be annoying and disobedient to the system Correct and on. So I already mentioned the Apple iPhone. August 25th, there was more execution of journalists that was live on air. That was what was crazy.
Speaker 2:And this was at another hospital.
Speaker 2:Yeah, so they Israel bombed a hospital. Journalists came to cover the scene and rescue workers came and then they double bombed it again while the journalists were reporting on air and I, yeah, I don't know. I think I'm speechless. I really don't know how they can get away with this. I don't know how they can get away with this. And when you look at Anas's execution when Mercury went direct, this other execution of journalists, which was also targeted, happened the day that Mercury exited its post-retrograde shadow period. So it's all still tied into that cycle, Not to say that the execution of journalists is only tied to mercury retrogrades, because fucking Israel does that every day, it seems. But this genocide, this live stream genocide in Palestine, has the most death of journalists than like any modern war combined right.
Speaker 1:Yes, and that's a war crime. So that's why I was so interested in these Geneva conventions, because that those treaties came out of World War Two when all sorts of war crimes were happening, with the Nazis and the US bombing Japan. So they all came together and they're like we should maybe not do this anymore. We should maybe come to an agreement of rules of engagement in war and murdering journalists in conflict zones. Quote unquote conflict is a war crime. Bombing hospitals is a war crime. There's this whole section around protecting children. Bombing civilian children is a war crime. You're actually not allowed to obviously duh bomb children. It's so crazy that, like I think now 20,000 children have been murdered.
Speaker 2:Oh that yeah. And then who knows how many are under the rebel. And you know, I think we know at this point like the un is a sham it's a sham so period, um, not to have a total vibe shift, but I do think it's interesting that shift.
Speaker 1:Well, because because I do think this is important in our cultural zeitgeist at the moment that more people are interested in the engagement of taylor swift. Somebody called her the climate terrorist, the climate terrorist marrying the MAGA football player. But they announced their engagement when Venus and Leo was trying Saturn and then Neptune. And I think that timing is interesting because the rumor is she knows astrology.
Speaker 2:Well, it was also Venus opposite Pluto, true, yes, she knows astrology. Well, it was also venus opposite pluto, true, yes, and she has her venus in aquarius, I think at one degree, and I think pluto is on top of it right now. Uh, I didn't know that there was a rumor that she knows astrology, but, um, yeah, I can't stand her, I can't stand them. I saw today that Travis Kelsey has an American Eagle ad. He's like partnering with them and I'm like, okay, but he's not going to get any backlash, like they just had that whole Sydney Sweeney and I was like, look at him, he's like their Jupiter coming in to like sweep that away, because he's linked to Taylor Swift.
Speaker 2:He's seen as this, like beloved figure, and I'm like, no, he is so MAGA coded, he's very MAGA coded right.
Speaker 1:Yes, both of them are very Americana PR relationship, americana PR relationship.
Speaker 2:Yes and well. She's a billionaire and billionaires are sociopaths. You can't have empathy and be a billionaire. I don't believe.
Speaker 1:Apparently, the word on the street is that the reason why they announced it today or two days ago is because this is right before NFL season starts and apparently when they started dating, their relationship brought in $1 billion to the NFL and it's right before or during her album release. So it's all timed at this moment for a reason, and that kind of makes sense because I would say in celebrity world, relationships are for a business reason.
Speaker 1:so it's very venus and leo in that way yeah and the fact that it it connected with saturn is like long-term committed relationship. It connected with neptune, which is like smoke and mirrors. Like this is we're gonna couch this as our romantic, you know relationship, but actually we're all going to fool you because we're going to take your money.
Speaker 2:I think he is putting on such a show.
Speaker 1:He is like such a fuck boy For sure.
Speaker 2:And he might be on his best behavior right now, but that shit is going to blow up. It really is, and then we'll get an album about it. We will.
Speaker 1:And that's why I think also, she dates these men, because they, ultimately, the relationships, are material for her future albums. They are just the what is it? The consequence? The casualty, the casualty of dating Taylor Swift. So that was the news that we had so far. I would say the best way to go through these times is to ground yourself. We are going to see more turbulence in our society as things are shifting, but don't fret people, don't get scared, get radical.
Speaker 2:Yes, that is great advice, and just know that that is also a sign that things are changing for the better too. More people are getting radical and ready to join.
Speaker 1:More people are waking up and realizing wait a minute. We deserve better, and I think that, and the more people that are on board and the more people that understand what is happening and how to connect the dots, the more safety and security we have with each other.
Speaker 2:Yep, so a lot of dots are being connected.
Speaker 1:Yes, so before we get into the transits of September.
Speaker 2:We both want to announce, we have an offering, we both each have an offering for you all and this is, for me, has been something that I've been, you know, going back and forth on since like 2022. I originally announced I was going to launch an eight-week program called Grimoire, which was eight weeks to becoming a better witch, and I am finally going to do that and you're all getting a sneak preview, because I'm not going to make the formal announcement until September 11th and I will include for people who are listening to the audio episode and on YouTube. I will include a link to the wait list if you're interested and want to sign up. But essentially, it's going to be eight weeks and it's going to dive into all different types of magic. So we'll start with grounding, cleansing and psychic self-protection. We will learn about connecting with your ancestral roots, ancestral elevation, communicating with your spirit team, planetary magic, using the moon cycle for manifestation, tarot 101, creating your own grimoire and different type of spell work and casting spells, and then we will end with collective liberation and community care.
Speaker 2:So there's a little bit for everyone and this is really for people who are interested in building their intuition and getting in touch with their magic and kind of dabbling and seeing, like, what is your brand, what is your style, what lights you up? And I'm going to have suggestions for each of these courses. Um, if there's an interest in diving deeper, you know, if you want to learn more about astrology, I will recommend Laura's star school and my mentor, sam Reynolds school. So I'm going to have options for you. You know, as you're navigating these different areas of witchcraft and magic and you find what really lights you up, to kind of help you find other mentors on your path as well.
Speaker 1:How fun that is like so fun, by the way, it's like a mini Hogwarts.
Speaker 2:Thank you, yes, I'm feeling excited Minus the JK.
Speaker 1:Minus the JK, minus her transphobia, yeah, but I just want to say I just want to give a little client review because when I went to go visit Stephanie last month which was like such a dream, by the way, like spending the weekend with your bestie and doing magical things- it was so fun, we were like pulling tarot cards every second.
Speaker 2:We're at the beach. Laura whipped out her pendulum. It was just amazing.
Speaker 1:It was just so fun. Oh, it's going to make me emotional, but I was telling Stephanie about how I have a little bit of insecurity and imposter syndrome of being an astrologer and it's really not because of my own personal gifts actually being a child of immigrant parents and them not really being on board with me doing something witchy like this and I have been sharing this with Stephanie and she did this clearing for me. It's called a barida, right, and it was the most I don't even have words to articulate because it's something that obviously was energetic, right, but she was able to tap into different layers of my energy body and clear things away. We set intention and she did her thing. Attention, and she did her thing.
Speaker 1:I mean, maybe you could share more about what it is, but after that I literally I let go of a friendship that was toxic. I started working on my course, which is what I'm going to share right now, and I just started taking action steps towards doing what I'm meant to be doing like being alignment with my purpose, and I think I was at a moment where I was ready for that clearing and then Stephanie just helped me in the last stage of what I needed to release, and so what I'm offering, starting October 6th, is a 12-week learn how to read your natal chart astrology school. It's called star school, and wait, yours starts October 9th, right.
Speaker 2:Yes, yes, yes.
Speaker 1:Yes, so our both of our schools start in the second week of the second week of October and basically all the things that we're talking about in terms of transits. The basic thing you need to first learn is how to read your natal chart, because then you want to learn next how these transit will affect your natal placements. So, if you're interested, it's starting October 6th, there's a payment option for sliding scale and also payment plans. But yeah, we would love to have you in our class classes.
Speaker 2:And you're also like you're doing the zodiac signs, you're deep diving into the houses, the aspects like, and then chart examples, and you're doing dignities right, like, I think, for me. I was self-taught and interested in astrology for like years until I found Sam Reynolds class and that's where I first learned about dignities and that was a game changer for me. So studying with Laura and learning about that because that's what really helps you recognize, when you're reading your own chart or someone else's chart, hey, is this planet helpful or could it be a little bit more harmful? And it can kind of. Just it gives you just so much more detail and a clear picture to and it can feel so validating. So I know you're covering that in your course and I just want to flag that that that in particular was game changing for me. So if we have any astro curious people and I know there are some of you out there because I have been messaged about it and I have recommended I'm like Laura's launching a school you would get it, yeah, yeah, the dignity.
Speaker 1:When I learned about dignities and sect and then aspects it just like your whole chart is like oh my God, yes, and you want to know what are your strengths and your weaknesses, what might be more challenging in your life, right, that you can work with. They're not things in your chart that are weak per se, but maybe you just need a little oomph sometimes. But knowing the nuance in your chart will really help you in navigating what's really to come, because I think the one thing we can focus on in the next couple of years is truly knowing yourself. And what magic and what gifts do you have to bring to the table? Because I think, as we divest in the system and we create our own system, that's how we're going to also be able to survive this revolution. A hundred percent, yeah, so, like we mentioned, if you're interested, everything will be in the show notes down below. And, yeah, should we get into September, absolutely Okay. Do you have any first things you want to say?
Speaker 2:No, just we're in eclipse season in September. September starts off with a doozy. Saturn goes back into Pisces. There's some cute moments, but if you feel like you're falling apart at the seams or fated, things are happening and unfolding, you're not alone. Yeah, it's that type of month alone.
Speaker 1:Yeah, it's that type of month, yes, so I've actually read a couple of client charts this past week who have prominent Virgo and Pisces placements and I'm like you're right on time. And a lot of them ask because eclipses are so unpredictable? Right Like I can't exactly say what this might entail, because I say eclipses bring endings and beginnings in a pretty big way, especially if you're a Virgo, a Pisces rising right now or any of the mutable rising signs, I would say that the challenge will be to accept and let go of something that maybe you weren't expecting it to exit left of your life, but knowing and trusting deeply that something better is coming along the way.
Speaker 2:This is such a lesson in surrendering and trying not to control the circumstances to control the circumstances, especially with the eclipses being in the signs of Virgo and Pisces. It's all about surrender, exactly.
Speaker 1:And Mercury is doing the most this month, so let's start with September 1st. As you mentioned, saturn retrograde is re-entering Pisces.
Speaker 2:Yes, so this is going to bring us back to May 24th. That was the day that Saturn entered Aries, but it was also the final time that Saturn was hanging out at 29 degrees of Pisces, and I'm pretty sure Saturn is going to stay retrograde until November 28th and then it will reenter the sign of Aries on February 14th of next year.
Speaker 2:So basically, from now until February 14th, you are experiencing the final consequences boundaries or even like proficiency and upgrades and responsibility in the Pisces section of your birth chart. I do think because this is the final pass, maybe, especially once the retrograde ends, Saturn usually tends to bring some sort of gift, because it's just so shitty Most of the entire transit right, yes, um, so actually Sam Reynolds, um, is also my teacher and he says Saturn wants three things from you.
Speaker 1:He wants a plan, discipline and structure. Woof, all the things that fire signs hate.
Speaker 2:Yes, we don't have time for that. No, we're booked and busy. We're on to the next.
Speaker 1:Yes, so if you didn't finish something in terms of structure, discipline or a plan in your Pisces house, saturn is coming back here to make sure, really make sure, that you did.
Speaker 2:You did.
Speaker 1:Yeah, yeah, oh, woof. I don't know what is worse Saturn this fall or Saturn retrograde in Pisces.
Speaker 2:I think I yeah, I don't know. I mean, so far I think I've liked Saturn and Aries better than Saturn and Pisces, and I'm even in my Saturn square when Saturn is in Aries.
Speaker 1:Yeah, that's true. Saturn has been on my son, so I'm really feeling saturn gosh, ease up, give you a break. Give laura a break give me a little break here. Give me a little break. I was like hot girl summer. No, hot girl summer, um summer's over. On september 2nd, mercury will enter Virgo until the 18th.
Speaker 2:Yeah, so this is Q. Mercury is exalted and in domicile in the sign of Virgo, which means it just has more support to help us with our mercurial things like communication and learning and connecting with our voice and coming up with ideas and plans. It will be forming that whole sign opposition to Saturn. So especially towards the 18th, I'd say like the 15th through the 18th, you might feel a little more depressed. The news might be a little bit heavier around that time.
Speaker 1:I love that there's two exalted planets in the sky. I think that's going to be very helpful, and one thing that you might learn in Stephanie's grimoire is how to use planetary transits for magic, right? Is that part of the thing? Yeah, and so Stephanie and I were both talking about. It's called electional astrology. When you pick an auspicious date to launch a business, you can use it to launch anything, pick a date to get married or whatever the case may be, but September happens to be a really good month, even though there's eclipses because of Mercury and Jupiter in their exaltation, so I think it will be helpful for people.
Speaker 2:Yeah, and they come together later in the month, which TBD we'll get to that.
Speaker 1:Yes, However, hold that thought because on September 3rd Mercury and Virgo will square Uranus and Gemini at one degree.
Speaker 2:This just feels like a sleepless night. So it's going to bring us back to that new moon in Virgo that took place on August 22nd slash August 23rd, when the sun formed a square with Uranus, so similar topics, themes and conversations might come up. And Uranus is also your nervous system and Mercury is your mind, and Uranus is unpredictable, and so this could be a wave of overthinking or insomnia, or just an overactive mind, or like a very busy day. It feels very busy mentally.
Speaker 1:Yes, this could also be a good day, though, to join some kind of action. You know, uranus and Gemini is still about disruption in some kind of news or media, and it's ruled by that mercury, so this could be a good day to do. I mean, I would be a. I would be careful about like censorship and stuff like that or, um, the surveillance state, but I would definitely use this month's Mercury for disseminating information the best that you can.
Speaker 2:Yes, I will say the next day we have Mars and Libra squared Jupiter and Cancer, and that feels heavy. So there are. Definitely so. Just be careful. There are definitely so. Just be careful. If you are going out and protesting and using your body as resistance, like cover your face, leave your phone at home. Don't take photos that include other people's faces. Just be extra cautious.
Speaker 1:Yes, extra cautious, yes that the september 4th is the day that. So the, the gaza flotillas leave august 31st, but september 4th is when, I think, a second wave of boats are leaving from tunisia or somewhere. So I was like there is this energy of fighting back, but also, like you mentioned, you could, you can also experience resistance on this day.
Speaker 2:Yeah, yeah, I think, well talking. Do you have anything else to say about Mercury-Uranus before I?
Speaker 1:move on.
Speaker 2:Okay. So yeah, this Mars and Libra square, jupiter and Cancer, I think, on a mundane and collective level, mars, we know, is war and violence and Jupiter is our beliefs and they're forming a harsh square. So seeing violence perpetuated in the name of quote, unquote a person's beliefs, I think is very possible, which feels like an escalation and more war crimes from Israel.
Speaker 1:Yes, and the United States, and the United States, yeah, I do. Likeupiter is exalted in cancer and mars is in detriment, right? So jupiter has more dignity. So in at the individual level. Uh, you might get into a fight or a conflict of beliefs with somebody. Um, I'm just really worried about this day for me personally. I have a Mars in Libra, so I'm going through my Mars return and, um, my chart ruler is Jupiter, so I'm like I don't want to get stabbed.
Speaker 2:No, oh my gosh, stop it. Mars, you are not. That is not going to happen. But you know there's. There were totally transits that I've said on this podcast where I'm like I is not going to happen. But you know there's. There were totally transits that I've said on this podcast where I'm like I'm not leaving the house today. Yeah, yeah. So maybe if you have that vibe, stay home, but you're going to be okay.
Speaker 1:Um, or like people. People like verbally attacking me or something. That's what. That's what that day feels like for me.
Speaker 2:Yeah, but you know what? To your point, jupiter is in cancer, but it's forming the overcoming square which means it has the upper hand. So, um, you know, there could be conflicts, there could be tension, but there is potential for resolution and finding support afterwards.
Speaker 2:Um and I think sometimes you know a positive manifestation of Mars, square Jupiter, is this like burst of energy and confidence and courage. So that could look like you standing up for what is important and what you believe in, but it could also look like, um, on a more personal level, you taking a risk or like a very uh, putting a lot of effort towards a personal goal or making progress on something that's important to you.
Speaker 1:Yeah, that's a good point, and Mars and Libra at in, I guess in it's just basic, basic expression can also be being not taking action because it wants to keep the peace, because it is a Mars in detriment. Mm-hmm, mm-hmm it's more diplomatic, it's like let's all work together. The very next day, on September 5th, uranus goes retrograde in Gemini at one degree.
Speaker 2:Wow, I mean first time, right.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 2:I was going to say TBD. We don't really know what this is going to feel like. I mean, it'll bring us back to July 7, which was the day that Uranus entered Gemini, so similar echoes might kind of ring true or appear. But yeah, it'll be very interesting to see what kind of comes up collectively and in our personal lives. I think you know technology can usually glitch out, so keep that in mind. And yeah, it's a period to reflect on your relationship with your own authenticity and change in general. You know like we are meant to make changes and evolve. So where are you stuck in, stagnant, and where could you use some shaking up?
Speaker 1:And like taking inventory of your relationship to your neighbors and your local community, like and how you're showing up there, Cause not all of us can impact a lot of people, but you can impact the people that you're surrounded by.
Speaker 2:A hundred percent. That is so Uranus and Gemini yeah.
Speaker 1:September 7th we have our first eclipse, a lunar eclipse in Pisces at 15 degrees.
Speaker 2:Yes, these eclipses are so interesting. I mean a couple days before. So the ruler of the eclipse is Jupiter in Cancer and it's coming off and separating from that square from Mars and Libra. It's taking place at 15 degrees. So if anyone has planets or placements around 15 degrees of the mutable signs, this one's for you. But it is forming a trine with that Jupiter, so it has reception with the ruler of the full moon, which is kind of sweet.
Speaker 1:I love yeah.
Speaker 2:This just feels like I'm going to be sobbing this day. This just feels like tears.
Speaker 1:You know what I?
Speaker 2:mean yes, yeah.
Speaker 1:The solar eclipse was in March, right In Pisces.
Speaker 2:Yeah, I think so.
Speaker 1:But, yeah, there's an ending. There's an ending that's happening in your Pisces house, but it's a North node eclipse. So again we were talking about surrendering to the unknown and having faith in your path. You're going to let go, you're going to have to let go of something during this eclipse season and it might not be easy. But you again have to kind of like go within and find your faith. Like what do you have faith in? Who do you believe in? Do you believe in God? Do you believe in the universe? Do you believe in a unity, consciousness source? I really like that. It's trying to it's ruler, the moon, and that has mutual reception. I think that's very supportive. It feels very, um, like at the end of the day, lucky, like whatever does end is for your benefit.
Speaker 2:Whatever wishes you've been like wishing on, they're coming true yeah, and it's in the second decan of pisces, which is that nine of cups, which is wish fulfillment. So, yeah, I'd say, if we're ranking the eclipses this month, this one is much better, because the next one is horrendous, you know, it's true.
Speaker 1:I know I was trying to find like a uh not so um harsh way of saying it, but there's no, this is reality here, uh. But yeah, I really like this eclipse and you know, pisces is like about spirituality and faith, art, music, it's that part of our lives that is uh almost like like unknown in the unknown realm, it's not physical.
Speaker 2:I was literally just going to say. It's the unseen and the collective consciousness, and it's going to remind you that we are all interconnected. You might see more signs and symbols throughout your day, and it makes you feel connected to that collective tether that we all share as living beings and stewards of Mother Earth.
Speaker 1:Yes, On September 12th the sun in Virgo will sextile Jupiter in Cancer.
Speaker 2:Thank goodness.
Speaker 1:Thank goodness.
Speaker 2:Yeah, the September 12th is just. We have a little pocket of sweetness here, right, We've got on the 12th Mercury and Virgo is also going to form a sextile with Jupiter and Cancer. Very cute, whew sigh of relief, like whatever you know, there's some support coming our way. I think when the sun and Jupiter come together, it's always like it feels like a positive development towards some of your goals and dreams, and feelings of that are affirming and validating. Like you know, you just feel like confirmation from people in your life or the universe that, like you are on the right path and you might feel more grateful just for the little things that matter most in your life. But sometimes we take for granted.
Speaker 1:Yeah, that's a good point. Virgo is, I would say that, the time of year when everything on the trees are ready to harvest, and this is the time of year where you take all of your harvest and you sort out the rotten apples and the good apples and you kind of have your abundance to prepare for the winter months, at least in the Northern hemisphere. Right, and I think that's like Virgo. Virgo is the editor. It sifts out the rotten not edible things, or then things that aren't growing anymore. It prunes so that you have, like you have enough to sustain you for the months where there is no growth. So I think, like the sun sextile jupiter, mercury, sextile jupiter, it is that energy of what do I have to work with now that is still growing, that can be supported by Jupiter and cancer, yeah, and kind of like doing an audit of your life wherever your Virgo house is.
Speaker 2:I love that, yeah, and I think the thing that is so sweet about this is that all of that energy is baked into the aspect. On the next day, on september 13th, we have the sun in virgo forming a conjunction with mercury in virgo, and it's the mercury kazemi and mercury's direct and uh. So it just feels like there's some extra luck baked into that Kazemi or support, or yeah, just sweetness, softness.
Speaker 1:I love this Kazemi because Mercury is exalted and in its domicile, and whenever a planet is Kazemi, it's like in the throne room of the sun. It gets this like boost, it's like here you go. But again, like I was telling Stephanie, I chose this day to launch something because it just works with my chart too, my nail chart. I really liked this day.
Speaker 2:It's beautiful.
Speaker 1:Also because my mercury is the opposite of mercury your mercury is a superpower it really is. But when you're doing like electional charts um, I'm learning electional astrology right now with sam reynolds and the first thing you learn is to to bonafide your, your debilitated and fallen planet. So I love you, mercury and Pisces, but you're not going to work for my election.
Speaker 2:There you go. Oh my gosh.
Speaker 1:The very OK. So do you have anything else to say about the Kazemi moment?
Speaker 2:No, just like a great day for magic, like Laura said, great day for announcing something, having an important conversation, applying for a job, whatever it may be, and can deliver like clarity when you need it most or like an aha moment, you know?
Speaker 1:Yes, yes, on September 15th, venus and Leo will sextile Mars in Libra at 25 degrees.
Speaker 2:This is fun and a little sexy and flirty. Yeah, this just feels creative and lighthearted.
Speaker 2:You know, we have two planets of our desire and our passion and our motivation coming together. This feels great for friendship building and community organizing as well. In this pocket of time, especially from the 12, organizing like organize a protest or organize a community, a block party to get to know your neighbors, or organize or ask the local library if you can teach a class on a certain skill that you have, you know, to give back, like this just feels like a really great window of time to build meaningful connection and for for the collective, that's like impactful.
Speaker 1:Wait, I love that you said that, because it reminds me of Fred Hampton, who is the who was the chairman of the black Panther party. He has a sun and Mercury in Virgo and his moon is in Cancer.
Speaker 2:Oh isn't that.
Speaker 1:So like I just got chills. Isn't that so like perfect for what he did? The Black Panther Party had all of these like free health care services, free lunch programs, places, free lunch programs, so like cancer is very nurturing and, uh, you know, like care. And then virgo is like the organizing and planning and yeah, I love that beautiful yeah and yeah.
Speaker 1:Venus and leo, sextile mars and libra is very like um, it could also be good for canvassing for, like, if you live in New York City, zoran Mamdani, who is running for mayor in November.
Speaker 2:Yeah.
Speaker 1:It's like getting people on board with your campaign.
Speaker 2:And your values, or using art to stand up and advocate for what you believe in.
Speaker 1:to stand up and advocate for what you believe in. These are such good ideas.
Speaker 2:You're welcome everyone.
Speaker 1:You're welcome from us Because you know we've mentioned before that there have been presidents who have used astrologers for their political campaigns. So we're just doing service to the collective liberation.
Speaker 2:Yeah, someone pass this along to Mondami.
Speaker 1:Yes, hire us September 17th. Mercury and Virgo will oppose Saturn in Pisces at 28 degrees.
Speaker 2:Yeah, so challenging. This is more challenging. It's also going to foreshadow the eclipse a little bit, just like Debbie Downer. Energy, yeah, you're setting a boundary. A relationship is ending, I don't know.
Speaker 1:You're at a conflict with somebody, somebody who's more Saturnian, possibly like a parent, maybe a boss. I like that Mercury has more dignity, but, yeah, this seems like a difficult conversation or a contract that's coming to an end.
Speaker 2:Yes, Something like that, Definitely. Oh sorry.
Speaker 1:No, that's it. I don't know.
Speaker 2:I don't know. I was going to try to say something positive, but I don't have that in me, so please carry on.
Speaker 1:Well, yeah, I was going to say to people that not every transit is going to also affect you. Yes, you know, because you want to look at. This is why, studying astrology a little bit, when we mentioned the degrees, you want to see if you have personal placements around 28 degrees. If you have 28 degrees of Mercury I mean Virgo or Pisces yeah, this might impact you, but not every transit is going to impact you. So when we say like, ooh, this might be difficult, that might not apply to everybody, thank you, yeah, perfect, but also, if it's difficult, it's difficult. There's no sugarcoating sometimes.
Speaker 2:And it will pass.
Speaker 1:And it will pass, and it will pass. September 18th mercury enters libra. Until october 24th, the same day, it will oppose neptune and aries and the same, and then the same day oh my god, it's so busy the most mercury.
Speaker 2:Mercury will try.
Speaker 1:It's doing the most this month mercury will try uranus and gemini, and then we'll try pluto and aquarius.
Speaker 2:Wow, same day, yeah yeah, you really were right. That was the perfect way to sum up September's energy, as Mercury is doing the most, it's doing the most.
Speaker 1:Mercury is booked and busy, so clearly there are connections to be made and broken contracts that might be renegotiated. I like Mercury in Libra. It's like smooth talkers, right.
Speaker 2:Yeah, I think that it's really nice that we are leaving the opposition from Saturn. And then it's not just like Mercury is like moving a few degrees away before it's connecting with these other planets. It's literally changing signs. So it is like wiping its hands, washing its hands clean. It's like bye, we're done with that. And then it's new, changing signs. So it is like wiping its hands, washing its hands clean. It's like bye, we're done with that. And then it's new energy, a new chapter. So this does feel like.
Speaker 2:I think Mercury opposite Neptune can give like temporary retrograde vibes, like misunderstandings for sure. Like double check your calendar, your appointment times. I always show up at the wrong place at the wrong time when Mercury is opposite Neptune. Like, even though I know this as an astrologer, I was like literally in my car Something similar like this happened a few weeks ago and I was like telling Joey I'm like I got to go, I got this, I'm volunteering at 530. And I was like on my way to San Franciscoisco and I checked my email and I was like two weeks from now I'm supposed to be there oh my goodness, yeah, you were in a neptunian haze yeah, so just you know if you're consuming news.
Speaker 2:Be use your discernment that is something that is so critical for spiritual and magical work as well and you can flex and build that strength and that muscle that you use for magic by and practice with the maps feature and then, um, something else terrible happened.
Speaker 1:This is giving me that same vibe on this day, because mercury will then try and uranus and gemini, and then it will try and pluto and aquarius, some something about our apps or surveillance or something. They're going to do something. On this day, I feel, yeah, yeah, so just be aware and yeah.
Speaker 2:Just be aware.
Speaker 1:September 19th, venus enters Virgo until October 13th. So, as a resident Venus in Virgo, tell us about this.
Speaker 2:I knew, I knew you were going to say it Well, because I feel like this is a very out.
Speaker 1:Of all the planets in their fall, I feel like Venus is the most difficult.
Speaker 2:I have to say it's a bitch, but I'm you work with it. Yes, I work with it. I love my venus and virgo. A lot of people in um the fashion world not saying that I'm, like the, the most stylish person in the world, but I do have a little boo-boo here um yeah, a lot of them have venus and virgo they do bella hadid some other people right, yeah, and they're all um into wellness too.
Speaker 2:I, megan markle, has venus and virgo yeah, so you know, listen, venus is about your pleasure, connecting with your body, embodiment, letting go, letting your senses take over. Virgo is mental energy. It is ruled by Mercury, it is a busy mind. It is so hard to not be self-critical, critical of others, and that's why Venus is in fall in the sign of Virgo, one of the reasons at least it's very difficult to kind of lean into those that Venusian energy, without you know, shutting your mind off or overthinking or being too critical of someone or refining right Like Virgo has never done, perfecting things. Perfectionism is Virgo's fault because perfectionism is a function of white supremacy and empire and it is not real, just fun fact. But Venus and Virgo, let's see like the chores become sexy you know, someone does the dishes and wow, it's the little, it's the little things.
Speaker 2:You know. Yesterday Joey brought home, oh my God, where they called ice cream sandwiches. Oh my God, what are they called Ice cream sandwiches? And I mentioned ice cream sandwiches like a couple of days before. I was like, oh, I almost bought them at the store but I didn't. And then he came in with ice cream sandwiches and I was like, ooh, you know, like that's a Venus and Virgo, it's like oh, you listened.
Speaker 1:Oh my gosh.
Speaker 2:You remember the little things. But also because he's a tourist man little things, but also because he's a tourist man. Yes, yeah, I know it was very self-motivated too. He is like we're going to eat these on the couch, you know like, yeah, but it's that, it's like the little things matter, spending time together cooking or going on walks around your neighborhood and, yeah, it's a good time to focus on your health and wellness and maybe even to do like a closet purge or edit.
Speaker 1:Yeah, I think Venus and Virgo people are baddies. To be honest, they really are. They're very like you, you said, into the detail. They pay attention to small things, which makes you feel like someone's paying attention to me, right? Um, yeah, I like venus and virgo energy. Yeah, so wherever you have virgo, venus will be transiting through this area. At the end of the day, it's still a benefic. Even if it's an interval, it'll bring some sweetness.
Speaker 2:You get your blessings in an unexpected way.
Speaker 1:Yes, so the very next day after Venus enters Virgo, it will square Uranus and Gemini at one degree, and Stephanie has something she likes to do Every Venus square Uranus, no.
Speaker 2:Did you do it last time? No, I haven't done it. I haven't shown, I haven't. Okay, every Venus, square Uranus, I have put my butt on the internet, but I haven't done that in a while, so maybe it's due. I don't know.
Speaker 1:Yeah, you haven't done it since you had your baby.
Speaker 2:I know, I know, and my butt is looking good. Let me tell you, I've been doing squats Okay.
Speaker 1:So maybe, maybe, look out for that y'all, yes, yes, um. The very next day, however, venus will, I mean the same day, venus will oppose saturn and pisces at 28 degrees.
Speaker 2:Yeah, this is just some complicated energy, because the next day is the eclipse which sucks, the one that we talked about, um, and Venus square, uranus is like unexpected developments in relationships. That Debbie Downer energy, the consequences, karma Like if you have not been keeping your side of the road clean. This is a time of like reckoning, right. It makes me think of the weighing the heart against the feather, right?
Speaker 1:Yes, mott, mott, yeah, yeah, the weighing the heart against the feather right yes mot mot yeah, yeah. And a sudden breakup too, yeah, just with the square to venus and uranus and sun opposite saturn it's very destabilizing energy.
Speaker 2:It's unpredictable energy like you could also run into like an old friend or an old lover, someone annoying from high school, like while you're out and about or like you could meet someone and never see them again, like it's just very like flash in the pan kind of energy.
Speaker 1:Yeah, Sun opposite Saturn, too, is also like coming into a conflict with an authority figure, which is never fun.
Speaker 1:Yeah so yeah, I think that, I think I know I'm like yeah, it's difficult to spin this in a positive way just because of other things going on. Like, I think the couple of days before the eclipse are already going to be so heightened because it's also a waning phase of the moon, you're releasing something, you know, the light is disappearing, and then you have this day before the eclipse. That's kind of challenging. And then the new moon solar eclipse in Virgo is at the anoretic degree. It's at 29 degrees. It just feels really like final.
Speaker 2:Yes, yes, so let's talk about that eclipse on the 21st. It's that new moon solar eclipse in Virgo, like you said, an erotic degree, 29 degree. This is an ending. It is a new moon, it's a south node eclipse, but it has that double signature for ending because it's the final degree of this zodiac sign and it's conjunct the south node, the South node and it is also opposite Saturn, so that's a triple signification of an ending yeah and then oh.
Speaker 2:I also noted that at the time of the eclipse, Mars is going to be at 29 degrees of Libra, which is also an ending, an aneretic degree. When planets are at 29 degrees, it feels almost like a pressure cooker, Like it feels they're crashing out. They're crashing out.
Speaker 1:Yeah, people could be crashing out on this day.
Speaker 2:This is not the time to overbook yourself. So, as we're going into September, save those days, save those weekend days, like I always find that, like the two weeks of the eclipses in particular, I have something on every single day of my planner and I'm like what, how did this happen? And then this time around I literally emailed um uh, one of the organizations I volunteer with and I was like I can't volunteer in September. I knew I was like I'm not going to be. Well, I can't.
Speaker 1:Wow, that's such a good, that's such a Virgo thing to do to plan ahead.
Speaker 2:Yes. So for all of you listening, take some of that and, um, give yourself a break, because we're going to need it, especially around this time.
Speaker 1:Yeah, this day just feels like something is being purged out of your life, like a big vacuum, is like sucking something out. That's what it feels like to me With the 29th degree. It's a south node eclipse. It's a dark moon. People could be feeling a little confused Because remember the new moon that happened in August? That was a new moon at zero degrees of Virgo. It was square to Uranus. I noticed people were crashing out on that day and that wasn't even an eclipse. Noticed people were crashing out on that day and that wasn't even an eclipse. Uh, the ruler of this eclipse is mercury and libra so it's not really doing anything in the sky I looked it wasn't really connecting with anything, um, I will say um positively.
Speaker 2:This eclipse. You could release limiting beliefs and self-doubt and self-criticism. You could kick a bad habit and restructure your routine in a new way. That is like cleaning with intention, to like scrubbing your floors using Virgo magic right. Wiping away, associating what you're cleaning, like that dirt, that grime, with your insecurities or a relationship that you're ready to release and, as you're cleaning it, like trust that that energy is clearing you know.
Speaker 1:Oh, I like that Using Virgo magic. Yeah, like literally imagining yourself clearing away what no longer serves you with. Like literally cleaning Mm, hmm, mm, hmm. Just don't overdo it on your diets, people, because Virgo is about health. It rules our intestinal. Oh my God Digestive tract I'm going to shit myself.
Speaker 2:For sure, I probably am Just being honest with you all.
Speaker 1:Yeah, I mean, like I said, purging, something is exiting your body.
Speaker 2:That's a good call out.
Speaker 1:Yeah, but just don't overdo it um. The very next day, mars enters scorpio.
Speaker 2:Until november 4th and it's the same day as the fall equinox in the northern hemisphere, when the sun enters libra. So this feels we have a total tone shift, a vibe shift, um, with two planets switching signs, and interesting because the sun is now in fall but then mars is in Virgo. Personally Scorpio yes, scorpio, it gives you consistency and dedication to reach your goals. It is a fixed sign you are a powerhouse. Whatever you put your mind to, you will do. Oh yeah, I think collectively it is grim.
Speaker 1:Oh, you think it's grim?
Speaker 2:Yeah, it will also form a square with Pluto.
Speaker 1:Yeah, I really like Mars and Scorpio energy when you want to get something done and you need to be kind of in an obsessive state about it. Again, if you use it with intention, it's like doing really deep research, going for your goals in a very kind of like fixed way. But you're right, like Mars when it's in its domicile in Scorpio could be like obsession, it could be revenge.
Speaker 2:It could be heightened sex drive to sex magic, fabulous to do some fabulous yes, love it, yeah.
Speaker 1:And then the sun it's Equinox. I like to use those days to do magic as well, because they're like portal days and I can't believe it's the fall, it's crazy I can't believe we're talking about september I know blows my mind hot girl fall. Here we come. Here we come. September 23rd, the sun and Libra will oppose Neptune and Aries at zero degrees. This feels like a pretty big deal.
Speaker 2:So this is bringing us back to that window earlier in the month, on the 18th, when Mercury did all this. So now the sun is retracing the step, so it's opposing Neptune, it's forming the trine with Uranus and Gemini on the same day, and then it goes on to form the trine with Pluto and Aquarius on the same day, both at one degree. So this feels like more information is coming to light.
Speaker 1:Yes, I like that. The sun like okay, so Neptuneune, uranus, aquarius and pluto are all the outer planets. They're all trying to do something new. Because they're, because they only made it to one degree. So mercury going through this past is like what are my thoughts, what am I doing here? And then the sun is kind of like powering this up. Yeah.
Speaker 2:I would say also like Neptune, regardless of what aspect it forms, taps us into the collective unconscious in some way, and so maybe this is a moment of something intense happening in the world, but it wakes up people's humanity and compassion and it helps them come together and organize, because we do have this productive trine with Uranus and Gemini and Pluto and Aquarius, and both of those placements are all about coming together with your local community and like power to the people, energy.
Speaker 1:Yes, I like that. And Neptune is about our imagination and our dream. How are we using our imagination and our dreams to create something differently from what we've currently experienced before?
Speaker 2:Exactly.
Speaker 1:What it's going to take is breaking the cycle of violence, healing and trying to create parallel systems to the ones that we've been experiencing, and I've been thinking a lot about how we've had. We've had some form of like capitalism, socialism, communism, feudalism, and maybe it's none of those things, but it's something else that we just haven't tried yet. You know, I like that because I think also, a lot of people are like socialism is the answer and I think some form of that, you know, but maybe that's not even it. Maybe it's another thing that we have to give a chance to. I know some people are going to listen to this and be like she's a communist.
Speaker 2:I just want everybody Better than a capitalist, I know I'm like.
Speaker 1:I just want everybody to have access to healthcare and housing.
Speaker 2:Well, yeah, I just can't believe that. In school they tried to make us think that communism and socialism are bad. It's like why wouldn't? We want everyone to be cared for WTF. I think I remember asking that in class. I was like wait, what, what? Why don't we have this?
Speaker 1:Yeah, this makes no sense. Yeah, like, everybody deserves to have healthcare and free education and access to clean water and housing. There are so many countries in the world that have this, but yet we are the free world and we don't have it. We have a democracy and we don't have it. And our tax dollars subsidize Israeli citizens in free healthcare. That's what's so maddening. That's what, like, I'm just like what? And?
Speaker 2:genocides?
Speaker 1:Yeah, it's just lies and propaganda over here, but Crazy lies and propaganda over here, but crazy. So what we're trying to say is really tap into these energies like the sun opposite neptune, the sun trine, uranus and gemini, the sun trine, pluto and aquarius. Something else is trying to be formed here and read a book, watch a documentary, get inspired, because all of these ideas have been shared from revolutionaries before us. We don't have to reinvent the wheel.
Speaker 2:And these transits are great for self-awareness and growth and transformation. So I think transformation so I think, especially if you have felt stuck or unsure of how to like navigate these times or how to make a difference, or even in your personal life, if there's something that you felt stuck about like this is going to help you take a risk and to help you push yourself outside your comfort zone and to try something new and to really evolve.
Speaker 1:Yes, and also we need to bring back intellectualism, because I feel like people are not reading and people are not researching and the um. I feel like we're getting dumber.
Speaker 2:I think it's just word, sorry to say, sorry to say Well, no, it's true. There's like actual studies that already show that the gray matter in our brain, like they I forget which university did the test, but like people who use chat GPT, and then people who didn't, like they measured the gray matter in their brain and the people who relied on chat GPT, the gray matter, like shrunk or grew or whatever one, is bad, I don't know. But anyways, I also think it is important to note because I have just told some of my friends this recently and they were like what really? And I feel like a lot of people and I was shocked that they didn't know this.
Speaker 2:I feel like so many people maybe don't know this, but chat GPT is so horrible for the environment. Yes, it is A lot of people don't know that. Yeah, every search query is like nine water bottles. Yes, often like people of the global majority Black Indigenous communities and it's taking their water and it's poisoning their water and so there's a lot of harm that comes from using chat GPT that the mainstream just isn't aware of. So I just wanted to elevate that because I thought everybody knew that, but I was kind of shocked that.
Speaker 1:Yeah, and they need the water to cool the towers. Yes, because each like I guess tower it needs a certain amount of water so that it doesn't like overheat.
Speaker 2:Overheat. Yeah, they have to do a bunch of air conditioning to cool them down. It is such a strain on the environment and it's actually harming people right now.
Speaker 1:Yeah, and can I just spill a little tea before we get into the last transit? But the word on the street is that all of these astrology apps use AI now. So this is also why you should listen to actual astrologers delineate the transits and also learn for yourself, because these apps are beholden to shareholders to make money, to get more and more people to sign up, but they can't keep up with the demand, so then they use AI to delineate the transits and I don't know, like for some reason, that feels really icky to me, because it's almost like you're shortcutting the process of delineating transits as an astrologer right of delineating transits as an astrologer right.
Speaker 2:Astrology is an oral tradition. You should learn from a person and you should receive the wisdom of the stars from a person.
Speaker 1:Yes, and I don't need to name the apps. You just look at the astrology apps that are available is all I will say.
Speaker 2:There you go. Laura is a Aries tea dropper.
Speaker 1:I just cannot. I'm just like what? When I found out about this, I wasn't surprised, but I was just like come on now, the last transit of the month, which is a little rough. Last transit of the month, which is a little rough. September 24th, mars and Scorpio will square Pluto and Aquarius at one degree. How can we use this energy? Because it's really rough.
Speaker 2:Take a bath and do a cord cutting ritual Ooh, that's a good one. Yes, you have Mars and Scorpio, so you want to get in touch with the water element? Ooh, that's a good one. And it's time to get rid of it and break that cycle once and for all, whatever it might be, that pattern, that situation, that contract, that relationship or unearth pain that you've been hiding in order to keep the peace and to really speak your truth. But this is confronting energy, it's triggering energy, but it is also cathartic.
Speaker 1:Wow, leave it up to Stephanie to know exactly how to use this transit.
Speaker 2:You know I've been thinking about it.
Speaker 1:I know I was like. You probably already saw this coming.
Speaker 2:Yeah, and I've done this with Mars Square Pluto, I've done just that and it feels so good and yeah, this is just doozy.
Speaker 1:Yeah, this is like a very triggering. This can be a triggering day where it brings up wounds from the past, memories from the past, trauma, abuse. A lot of abuse stories might come out DV stories or experiences with abuse and we just want to say that both Stephanie and I have had experience with this in our past, in our childhood, and this is not. These are healing exercise, somatic healing. I just thought of something that I might do on this day, which is the freezer spell.
Speaker 1:Yes, I've been putting everybody in the freezer. Oh my God, oh my God. Yes, I've been putting everybody in the freezer. Oh my god. Oh my god, just because, okay, water, right, mars and Scorpio and freezer Aquarius. So, basically, if you feel like somebody is harassing you or if some, if you feel like someone's giving you the evil eye which, by the way, so many people were giving me the evil eye I did a spell and put them, not literally in the freezer, but I wrote down their name and I poured water in a Ziploc bag and I put them in the freezer and they don't bother me anymore. Goodbye.
Speaker 2:Goodbye. The freezer spell is wonderful, chef's kisses. I love that interpretation too. That's like literally so literal tapping into the energy.
Speaker 1:Yes, so we're here to help you out, but that's September, right? We wish you all well. I feel like we're like Godspeed.
Speaker 2:Yes we are, you know, but for us too, because we're people, these transits hit us and we always show up next month ready to report. So let us know how these transits affect you. We always love hearing from our clients and from our listeners, and it really brings astrology to life, and we both hope to see you in our classes in october yes, and see you on the other side of the eclipses yes, all right, good luck bye.
