This is your daily horoscope for Sunday, April 12th, 2026. All times are Pacific Standard Time. The action starts out around 1 p.m. when the moon and Aquarius forms a sextile with the Sun and Aries. This is gentle and supportive energy. There is synergy between our inner self, the moon, and our outer self, the sun. There's extra flow regarding the topics associated with the Aries and Aquarius sections of your birth chart. This can be just a helpful energy that helps you feel like you're making progress in some aspect of your life. However, I want to say that with a caveat because around 10:30 p.m., Mars and Aries forms a conjunction with Neptune and Aries for the first time in our lifetimes. If you are feeling overwhelmed by the state of the world and want to just take one small action step to make a difference that can ultimately help save a life, I've got something for you. On April 30th, the state of Texas is scheduled to execute James Broadnax for a murder that he did not commit. The actual shooter, James' cousin, Demarius Cummings, was sentenced to life without parole for his role in the crime. And Demarius has now admitted that he was the one who actually committed the murders during a robbery outside of their music studio in Dallas in 2008, and that it was not James. Demarius's admission is also corroborated by the presence of his DNA on the murder weapon and on one of the victims themselves. And there are many other concerning facets of this case as well, including the prosecutor's efforts to remove all prospective black jurors from the jury pool. Please join me and others in urging Governor Greg Abbott and the Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles to commune the sentence of James Broadnacks in the interest of fairness and justice. Alrighty, so when Mars and Neptune come together in Aries, it's taking place at two degrees. So if you have any planets or placements around two degrees of Aries, Cancer, Libra, or Capricorn, you are the main character. Mars is this planet of anger and frustration and war and severing and energy. And Neptune is this planet of fog, illusion, of spirituality, of our beliefs and our ideals. Mars is also very much like military and force and policing. And Neptune has this fog. So there is this connotation of like fog of war or taking actions or specifically military actions that are deceptive. So when I see this and put it in the context of the world, there could be some sort of strike or you know, military development where the government is lying to us. Oh my god, not shocking to anyone, right? Like you don't need an astrologer to tell you that. But I'm just saying this to remind you all, whatever it is, and maybe it's not a strike, but whatever is unfolding around this time, especially globally and collectively, and at the hands of the United States genocidal regime. Excuse me, I have a cold. I just want you all to really exercise your critical thinking because Neptune really creates this fog of uncertainty, illusion, and uh fake news, right? So think critically, make sure you are uh reading news from verified sources, make sure you're reading news from other countries. Oh my goodness. I really recommend Al Jazeera, that is a great news source that I enjoy consuming. Um enjoy is not the right word, but trust, right? Because the news is not enjoyable. However, just keep that in mind that there is something that is unfolding today in our personal life or in the collective that might not be truly as it seems. Okay, so true motivations, intentions, actions can be hidden, or there can be an element of deception, and that applies both personally and collectively. Now, sometimes this is also personally an exhausting energy. You might just feel totally zapped out, you might have a cold, you might need to rest, you might feel unmotivated or really struck by this wave of uncertainty. Just know that this is not the time to force yourself. Drink extra fluids, extra water. Anytime we have Neptune, it's important to be hydrated and make sure you are bringing yourself back into your body. There's going to be this really big desire to escape and check out. And that might not be uh the best thing for you to do today. So try to do like grounding exercises that bring you back into your body. Try to focus on regulating your nervous system, whatever way works for you. We all have our different tips and tricks and tools, but be gentle with yourself, be gentle with others because this energy is triggering and exhausting as well. One other iteration of Mars and Neptune, a positive iteration, this can give you the courage, the audacity, the confidence to stand up for what you believe in to defend and protect those who need it. This can really embolden you to put yourself out there, put your beliefs out there, your ideals out there, and to fight on behalf of them, to take action on behalf of them. So that is very motivating and positive energy. And if you are not feeling run down or exhausted, I would encourage you to lean into that aspect of today's energy as well.

Maybe you have a cold, maybe you're emotionally exhausted, maybe you're feeling uncertain about what's coming next or how to proceed, or you're dealing with some sort of gaslighting or confusion or uncertainty. The energy can be really defeating and uncertain, but it is also an opportunity for you to explore creative solutions, to take action based on your ideals and your beliefs. And it can give you a surge of creativity and whimsy to funnel into your personal goals and to really show up authentically and be the person you've always dreamed of.

If you've been burning the candle at both ends, this is a reality check, something that is going to help you wake up and set better boundaries. But in the process, you really want to be careful that you are not leaning into self-destructive habits or patterns. Now, this energy is also very beautiful for heightening your intuition, your spiritual connection, and recognizing certain synchronicities that are showing up in your day, or even recommitting to a spiritual practice that feels fulfilling, nourishing, grounding, and healing as well.

This is not the best day to assume other people's intentions because you're not going to be understood clearly and you might not understand others clearly as well. This can be a little bit like a Mercury retrograde energy. So just keep that in mind as you move throughout your day and try to put off making life-changing decisions if you can for a day. This can also bring up disappointment or loss or shifts and changes that feel emotional regarding your relationships with extended family members or siblings or even best friends. Sometimes there's an element of gaslighting or uncertainty or grief or guilt. But this is also a moment where you might reflect on how you're speaking to yourself and want to change the way that you speak to yourself. You might also make an important decision to go back to school to pour your effort into something that you are excited about or learn a new skill or commit to a spiritual practice or a creative practice like writing a book as well.

Maybe you are hoping for one thing, but what shows up isn't exactly what you had anticipated. So this is not the best day to make important financial decisions if you can't avoid it. I would just put it off. Now, this energy can also stir up tension in the workplace, but it can also give you a lot of momentum to advocate for yourself or to pour your effort and your energy into some sort of creative project, something that involves your ideals and your beliefs, or even investing in your relationship with your spirituality and intuition as well.
