This is your daily horoscope for Monday, April 13th, 2026. All times are Pacific Standard Time. The action starts out around 1 a.m. when the moon in Aquarius forms a square with Uranus and Taurus. This is going to bring some sort of shock and surprise your way. Maybe it is a random DM, a message in your inbox, or a bright, innovative idea, or a divine download. Or maybe you have a powerful dream and you're unable to sleep, or you wake up excited, or maybe you are finally feeling your emotions and you are shocked by a surprise cry or something like that. The main thing to know is that don't force yourself to stick with a plan and just try to go with the flow as best as possible because the energy is really geared up to shift today in unexpected ways. Now, also around 1 a.m., we have Venus and Taurus forming a sextile with Jupiter and Cancer. This is taking place at 16 degrees. If you have any planets or placements around 16 degrees of the water signs or the earth signs, you'll feel the benefits of this the most intensely. Now, Venus and Jupiter are known as the two benefics in astrology. They are the two luckiest planets in the sky, and they're both moving through zodiac signs that they really like, which means they're better able to give us and lend us and help us access some of the beauty and the joy and the benefits of these planets and what they offer us. On April 30th, the state of Texas is scheduled to execute James Broadnax for a murder that he did not commit. The actual shooter, James' cousin, Demarius Cummings, was sentenced to life without parole for his role in the crime. And Demarius has now admitted that he was the one who actually committed the murders during a robbery outside of their music studio in Dallas in 2008 and that it was not James. Demarius's admission is also corroborated by the presence of his DNA on the murder weapon and on one of the victims themselves. And there are many other concerning facets of this case as well, including the prosecutor's efforts to remove all prospective black jurors from the jury pool. Please join me and others in urging Governor Greg Abbott and the Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles to commune the sentence of James Broadnacks in the interest of fairness and justice. So Venus is this planet of our personal values, of our relationships, of our creativity and our finances. And Jupiter is this planet of expansion and faith and justice and hope and our goals and our dreams. And when they come together, all of those things are supported in some way. So this is a beautiful energy for really making progress on some of your goals, for learning lucky news, for having pleasant interactions with other people, for dating and building connections, for building community, for getting involved in your community, and also for giving back. Jupiter and Cancer is very much about collective care in our everyday actions. Cancer is the nurturer and it's ruled by the moon, which changes signs every two and a half days. So it really does show us how do we embody hope and care and compassion and nurturing on a daily basis. So maybe there is some step you take today that helps create the ripple effect of change in humanity and in collective consciousness to help us build and create the world in which we all deserve. That's gonna look different for all of us. We all have different roles, we all have different skills. One thing I would just say is maybe you want to use today's energy to go back and think about when you were a little kid, what was the wildest, most exciting dream you had for your future? When you grew up, what did you want to do? And I'm not saying it doesn't have to be work, but what did you feel like your destiny, your purpose? What was it called towards? And when you would think about it or play when you were a child and make pretend with it, how did you feel in your body? Spend some time with that, you know, maybe do a guided meditation for your inner child, or spend time journaling about that because we were all put on this earth at this moment of time with a specific gift and purpose, and it is our job and responsibility to follow what we are passionate about, what excites us, and so maybe you can use that energy today of Venus meeting with Jupiter to reconnect with your pleasure, your presence, your joy. Because when we are in alignment with our calling and we're really embodying it, not only are we feeling good, but it creates a ripple effect for the world, for the positive, because we were placed here with that gift, with that desire, for a reason.
