This is your daily horoscope for Monday, June 1st, 2026. All times are Pacific Standard Time. Oh my gosh, I'm nervous. I'm nervous. I'm nervous to come back. Um, am I ready to come back? Is it too soon? I don't know. You know, I've missed you all, I've missed the podcast, I've missed astrologizing. And also I just went through a dark night of the soul. My biggest fear my entire life, which is my sister dying. My little sister passed away in April, and it's changed me in ways that I don't fully comprehend yet. And yesterday at the time of recording this, I'm recording this the day after Mars formed a square with Pluto. Yesterday I had just such a release. I was just sobbing uncontrollably. I got hit with this wave of grief and I didn't see it coming, and it just knocked me out. And that still happens like multiple times a week, regularly, and I'm still caring for myself. And I don't know. So I'm gonna give this a try. You know, the plan right now is to continue to pause my Patreon for the paying members um until June 12th, and I will reevaluate there uh and keep you all updated. But I was feeling like starting in June, I just wanted to kind of get back into the ropes um in a routine of recording my podcast with a little less pressure of the Patreon portion of it. So here's my attempt at that. And if it sticks and it works and it feels good to me, amazing. And if I find that I'm not ready, I'll let you all know. Okay. Um because yeah, I I don't want to really get into, you know, the final weeks of my sister's life and what happened and um, you know, the aftermath of all of that. I will just say it's so weird for me because normally I'm such an open book. Like I'm fine talking about pooping on the internet, you know? Like I don't normally I really don't care. I've been very open that um I'm a survivor of childhood sexual abuse from my father. Like it's been talking openly on the internet has been something that I just have been okay doing. Um but for whatever reason, I you know, I'm still processing and integrating, and I'm very actively grieving still. Um so I'm not ready to get into my sister. Um but I am ready to get into the astrology. So like I said, this is gonna be a little bit of a test week, a test couple of episodes. Once I'm in a better place, I really plan to come with more of a structure. And like on the Sunday episode or whatever first episode of that week, I'm gonna offer action items to help create and build a better world, to help us all stay informed, but then also to couple it with action items for us to make a difference because I think it's so easy for us to forget how powerful we are when we come together. So this week I'm gonna be focusing on Jeffrey Lee, who is currently sitting on death row. The state of Alabama plans to execute him in 16 days. He had a trial, the jury voted to give him life in prison without the possibility of parole. They did not give him the death penalty, but the trial judge overrode their uh decision to give him life and actually impose the death penalty on him. And this is a process known as judicial override that is so unjust, it has actually been abolished from the state of Alabama since 2017. So if Jeffrey were tried today, he would not get the death penalty. Um, it would be illegal. And I think that just speaks to the corruption and the injustice and the racism. And just remember you can do this every day, you can do this multiple times a day. Um every life matters. I believe that and you know, with my whole being and body. And we helped save Sonny Burton's life in March. That was us, that was every one of you who decided to try something new and change up your routine and take 30 seconds to call. You know, it helped save Sonny's life, and we can help save Jeffree's life. So please, please consider spending a minute or two of your day in service of the collective and you know, creating and carving out time for hope and justice because that is how we build and actually actively participate in the world in which we hope to see and that we all deserve. Okay. So Mercury enters Cancer around 5 a.m. And Mercury is the planet of communication, it is the planet of information, how we process our feelings and our emotions and our ideas. And when it's in the sign of cancer, it is ruled by the moon, which means that we are changeable, we are a bit moodier because the moon changes signs every two and a half days, and it quickly shuffles between different aspects with the different planets constantly, right? That's why you listen to this horoscope. So just keep in mind that when it comes to our ideas, the conversations, our feelings, they're gonna be more changeable over the next few weeks. Something else that is important to note is Mercury will be going retrograde in the sign of cancer on June 29th. We won't be in the pre-retrograde period until I want to say June 12th-ish. So don't have to fully worry about that just yet, but pay attention. What are you focused on? What are themes and topics that are coming up for you? You might be thinking more about security emotionally, financially. What does a sense of home and belonging and emotional nourishment look like for you and those relationships? This is a great time to lend your mental energy and your own skills and abilities to your community and to your loved ones. Cancer is that nurturing sign.
