Astrology of June 29

This is your daily horoscope for Monday, June 29th, 2026. All times are Pacific Standard Time. The action starts out around 12 a.m. when the moon enters Capricorn. It's not until 9 a.m. when the moon in Capricorn forms a square with Neptune and Aries. This is going to bring on a period of exhaustion, feeling like you're in a haze, or feeling uncertain. This can also really elevate some of your own insecurities and projections, feeling misunderstood. This isn't a moment to put pressure on yourself to have all of the answers, but to just be curious and gentle with yourself about whatever feelings are arising. Engaging in some sort of artistic or creative hobby or pursuit can also feel healing as well. Now around 10:30 a.m., Mercury stations retrograde in Cancer. This is happening at 26 degrees. If you have any planets or placements around 26 degrees of Aries, Cancer, Libra, or Capricorn, you are the main character. You will feel this station the most intensely. Now, this retrograde is going to last for a couple of weeks. And we actually started getting clues into our personal retrograde story. Hold the phone, let me tell you when on June 12th, when Mercury entered the pre-retrograde shadow period of 16 degrees. So this is going to be a moment where retrogrades always bring us back to the past, right? But now we have it in the sign of cancer. This is going to be extra nostalgic and sentimental. There might be themes regarding security, whether it's emotional security, financial security, uh, our roots, our ancestry, our patterns and cycles that run in our lineage or that we picked up from our primary caregivers that deserve attention, shifting, healing. All of these themes can come up, and none of them are just easy peasy to deal with. So give yourself and others grace and just know that this is an invitation to slow down, which is a healthy, natural cycle and part of being a living being on earth. We are not meant to be productive all the time. I don't believe that there is anything to fear about Mercury retrogrades. Can communication get wonky? Sure. Can we mess up and there are little issues and frustrations that take place? Sure. But this is also really a moment of integration, of stillness, of returning to your own inner voice and just healing as well. Now, this day is huge, okay, because we also have a full moon in Capricorn that's taking place at 5:56 p.m. Pacific Standard Time. The full moon is taking place at eight degrees. And so if you have any planets or placements around eight degrees of Cancer, Capricorn, Aries, Libra, you are the main characters. The full moon in Capricorn is going to mark a moment of achievement or bring your attention to the future versus the past, your long-term goals, where you are now. And it can also be a moment where you're recognizing how you tie your worth to your productivity or accomplishments. And if you are catching yourself in this cycle, how can you undo that? How can you create healthier structures to support yourself and to celebrate yourself? This might also be a moment where you're thinking more about the boundaries in your life or who and what you're committed to, or the old crusty, oppressive systems and structures and the foundation of this country and around the world that would need to be dismantled, and how you can share your own unique gifts and talents towards building a world which does have emotional security that we all deserve, right? Which is the opposite expression in cancer. Now, later on, around 9:30 p.m., Mars and Gemini will form a square with the nodes of fate and destiny. And this is taking place at zero degrees. So if you have any planets or placements around zero degrees of Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, or Pisces, you're the main characters. This might feel like decisions you make are faded, or actions you take are faded, or conflicts you get in, fights that arise, boundaries you set are faded. There might also be this extra pressure cooker feeling to take action. You might also feel like you are overthinking as well. Now there's one more main event of the day, and that is Jupiter entering Leo around 11 p.m. Jupiter changes zodiac signs every 12 to 13 months. And the last time Jupiter was in Leo was 2014 to 2015. Jupiter is this planet of expansion, growth, justice, support, our faith, our goals, and our dreams. And when it moves through Leo, and let's all just be aware that it will be immediately forming an opposition with Pluto and Aquarius, and that's gonna stir up some troubling feelings and energy. Overall, this signature has the tendency to shine a light almost on like wealth hoarding or, you know, celebrity culture, and I'd say the very few billionaires who are pillaging the earth and humans and hoarding resources and single-handedly destroying earth and don't have a shed of humanity within them. So this is going to bring a growing awareness of those people in power who are hoarding resources and creating exponential harm and their extravagance and versus the everyday people, right? And our power that we hold collectively when we come together. When you think about power and you think about celebrity, and yes, I'm talking about celebrity because Leo, right? The Leo is ruled by the sun, the center of the universe, that star power. And when you and it really is tied into celebrity culture. And I think this is going to be one of the things that we're really focusing on the second half of the year, once Jupiter enters Leo, but also once the South Node, a point of release, enters Leo. This is going to be a major topic and revelation. I hope among many of us that people like celebrities who hold all of this power. And that power really is our attention, right? We know we are infinite magical spiritual beings having a physical experience. But our mind, our thought, our energy is powerful. And what we give it to and pay attention to can be used. And celebrities capture our attention and our focus and in turn our power. And when I was little, I wanted to be famous because I wanted to make a difference in the world. I was like, wow, can you imagine being a celebrity and just being able to give one talk at the Oscars or at the Grammys and bringing attention to some sort of injustice? For me, as like a little kid with a narrow worldview and a ton of privilege, I was just like, that looked like eradicating Rhett syndrome, which is what my sister had. I wanted to become famous so we could help bring awareness to Rhett Syndrome. And as I've grown up, right, and continued to learn and unlearn, I think many of us have become more aware of how disillusioned we are with celebrity culture because what are they really doing with their power? None of them are brave enough to speak out about the kidnappings and the concentration camps all across the country. Barely any of them are able to literally use the word genocide when the state of Israel is literally raping Palestinians with animals. And there are so many atrocities in the world, and these celebrities have power and our attention, and they don't do anything with it. So that is just one of my hopes is that we start to really reclaim our power and divest in celebrity culture. What does this look like? It could look like unfollowing celebrities on social media. It could look like not watching all of the reality TV shows or limiting your TV intake or scrolling on social media, putting parameters around it, but really trying in different ways to divest from this culture that is meant to keep us complicit and distracted and exhausted and entertained, right? So that we don't have the energy or the focus or collective will to come together and fight back and create the world in which we all deserve. Anywho, what else will Jupiter and Leo do? It's a great time to build your confidence, to focus on creative projects, to show up authentically, to embrace your cringe. I think on a personal level, those are all beautiful manifestations of Jupiter and Leo. I think you're gonna be hearing a ton of TikToks and you know, social media astrologers talking about how Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, Aquarius, it's the luckiest year of your life, or you're in your winning era, or here comes all the blessings because Jupiter enters Leo. Not necessarily true. Okay. A couple of things. One, it depends where Leo is in your birth chart. Is Leo in a fortunate house, or is does Leo rule one of the darker houses in your birth chart that's associated with more challenging life circumstances? This also it's important to remember that once Jupiter enters Leo, it's gonna immediately form an opposition with Pluto. That's heavy, that's intense, that's triggering. That's not necessarily going to bring this sense of ease and support. For some it might, but not everybody. And it's important to remember that Jupiter pushes us outside of our comfort zone, and the unknown can be scary. So oftentimes Jupiter transits do bring blessings because Jupiter ultimately is a benefic, but it's not without its trials and errors and lessons and consequences and challenges as well. So if your life isn't like instantly improved when Jupiter enters Leo, nothing's wrong with you. I just want to affirm that. And will there be blessings down the road for your personal Jupiter and Leo story? Absolutely. It is like a healing bomb. It can bring support, it can bring healing, it can bring justice, it can help you reach some of your dreams, it can help you embody yourself more authentically, but that's a process, and Jupiter will be in this sign for a year. This could be a period of winning and self-expression and confidence and learning lucky news or saying yes to opportunities that leave you feeling expanded and hopeful and even deeper in alignment with your beliefs and what matters most to you.
