This is your daily horoscope for Thursday, July 9th, 2026. All times are Pacific Standard Time. Around 10 a.m., Venus enters Virgo. Venus is the planet of love, relationships, personal values, our finances, what we value, who we value. And Virgo is not its favorite zodiac sign. Technically, it is said to be in fall when Venus moves through the sign of Virgo, which means that it can struggle a little bit more. If you think about Virgo energy, Virgo likes to have a plan. Virgo likes to have systems in place. It likes to know what's coming next. It likes to stay organized. There's a little anxiety and a lot of self-criticism. Um, Virgo is always working towards perfection and is kind of like this constant work in progress. And that energy can be a little exhausting. And Venus is all about our leisure and our pleasure. And so when Venus moves through Virgo and Virgo's like, we gotta be better, we gotta be better. And Venus is like, hey, can we just vibe? Can we just chill? Can we lay on the couch in some cozy pajamas and just feel how sensual the cotton feels on our skin or whatever it is, the silk? I don't know. Virgo's like, no way, we can't do that. So, anywho, when Venus moves through Virgo, we might be a little bit more critical in our relationships of others and of ourselves. We might be more in our heads. Virgo's ruled by Mercury, so we might be overthinking a little bit more. Um, it's gonna be really important to utilize that earth sign energy. So doing grounding exercises, getting into your body, finding movement that feels good for your body and yourself, or if it's better for you, visualizing movement and maybe associating it with whatever you want to clear out, right? So if you want to stretch your body as you feel that in your muscles, maybe associate that feeling with something releasing that you want to release. At least that's how I'm planning on using this energy. Um, but Venus and Virgo, of course, is not all bad. It can help you come up with plans and solutions, and it can help you remember the tiny things that make you love someone or appreciate someone, and there's an eye for detail. You see, a lot of people in the fashion industry who do have Venus and Virgo. There's an incredible eye for detail when Venus moves through Virgo. So maybe you want to play around with your style. I don't know. But it's not all bad. Okay. I know I made that sound like a little wah wah, but there are major benefits to be had, even if a planet is quote unquote in detriment. It often holds some sort of secret superpower. Now, around 8 p.m., the moon and Taurus will form a sextile with the sun in Cancer. That is lovely, harmonious energy. It's gonna bring synergy between our inner self, the moon, and our outer self, the sun, and between the Taurus and Cancer sections of our birth chart, we have this water earth sextile, which just helps us kind of ground into the material world. So to take something that has been a feeling or in our intuition or in our mind and to bring it to form and life. So if there is something you want to start creating, this energy can help you do so. Around 11 p.m., Venus and Virgo forms a trine with Chiron in Taurus. Chiron is newly in Taurus, so this is taking place at zero degrees. And this is going to highlight relationship wounds, relationship patterns, healing in a gentler and softer way. So maybe there is a conversation you need to have, and maybe it goes well. Maybe you feel vulnerable and scared and raw and uncertain, but in this interaction, you really are able to feel seen and heard and appreciated and mend something, or maybe you're changing your own relationship patterns, or you're reacting to an old trigger in a different way, or you're embodying your personal values the way you really want to, and that can also feel healing and empowering as well.
