This is your daily horoscope for Tuesday, July 14th, 2026. All times are Pacific Standard Time. Today we have a biggie. We have the new moon in Cancer at 2:43 a.m. Now this is taking place at 21 degrees. If you have any planets or placements around 21 degrees of Aries, Cancer, Libra, or Capricorn, you will be the main characters and feeling this the most intensely. When I think of new moons in the sign of cancer, new moons are this period of new beginnings, of setting intentions because the moon's light is about to grow. And it's also a period of endings and release because it is when the moon is its darkest. So we are kind of letting go of what isn't working and is no longer in alignment and retooling and moving in a different direction. When I think of cancer, I think of security and nurturing and compassion and community and the land and how we define home and who home is, not just where or what home is, but who makes us feel secure and safe and nurtured and cared for, and how do we extend that back into our loved ones and our community as well. In when the moon is new in cancer, this is also a really important time to think about the land back movement and whose land are you living on and occupying the United States was founded through genocide of the various indigenous nations and people. And one of the things we can do to right that wrong in some way or take an action in that direction is by participating in land back. So figuring out whose land you're occupying and living on, you can go to native-land.ca to type in your address or your location, and it will let you know whose land you're occupying. And then from there, you can use a search engine to figure out what organizations exist and is there a way that you can pay monthly reparations? Is there a way that you can get involved? And that's just a good jumping off point. But I think when the new moon is in cancer, we really want to connect with our land, you know. Even I grew up in an apartment building, but the land, that land matters. All all land matters, right? Earth is alive, and we want to give thanks and reverence to the spirits of the land and the people who were the caretakers, the original caretakers of this land before us, and who are the deserving caretakers of this land, uh, even if they've been displaced due to imperialism and colonialism. And I think it's just a great time to do some sort of spell or some sort of conscious intention setting around connecting with the land you're living on and the spirits who also continue to tend to it and occupy it and love it. Now, the new moon in Cancer is also an emotional reset. It's an opportunity to release the past, to take a kernel of wisdom from your past and implement it into your current world, to experience a refresh in personal relationships, and that can bring emotional highs and lows. It can look like breaking cycles and patterns, and that can feel isolating and jarring and full of grief, let me tell you. I know firsthand. But it can also be emotionally freeing and healing as well. It's a great time to connect and be grateful for your loved ones and the people who do see you and appreciate you and hear you and value you for who you really are. And this is also a lovely time to experience changes in your own living situation. So maybe you're moving items around within your home, or maybe you're making a decision about where you live or who you live with, but those themes and topics can come up as well. Now, around 3:30 p.m., the moon enters Leo. Around 9 p.m., the moon and Leo forms a conjunction with Jupiter and Leo, bringing big feelings your way. This could look like a moment of celebration, of support, of gratitude, a big cry, a big laugh, a deep hug, a deep hug, a long hug, or anything that kind of evokes the big feelings in your heart as well, because Leo rules the heart. Now around 10:30 p.m., the moon and Leo forms a sextile with Uranus and Gemini. This is going to bring some surprises your way. It helps you take a risk to think about something differently, which in turn can help you come up with solutions as well. Around 11 p.m., the moon and Leo forms a trine with Neptune and Aries, bringing gentle, compassionate energy your way.
