This is your daily horoscope for Sunday, August 2nd, 2026. All times are Pacific Standard Time. The action starts out around 2 30 a.m. when the moon in Pisces forms a square with Mars and Gemini. Now around 5 30 AM, the Moon and Pisces forms an opposition with Venus and Virgo. And why am I pairing these two aspects together? Ding ding ding. If you said because of the Venus Mars square that took place on July 29th earlier this week, you get the gold star. And that is because the moon is the closest celestial body to Earth, and when it comes in contact with these planets that are a bit further away, it reactivates that aspect and brings the energy down to Earth. So this can be a moment where similar themes and topics from July 29th are coming up again. It can be a moment of frustration, it can be a moment of tension or feeling under pressure to act. Or it could also just be a really sexy or steamy encounter. Now, later on, around 1 30 p.m., the moon enters Aries. And around 9 p.m., the moon and Aries will form a sextile with Pluto and Aquarius. This is going to help you embrace change with less fear and resistance. Whether it is shifting your own perspective, letting go of a habit, changing a limiting belief, or being more self-aware and holding yourself accountable in new ways. This also adds depth and vulnerability to your interactions with others. And it gives you intense focus if there is something you need to study or research as well. Now around 9 p.m. as well, the moon and Aries will form a conjunction with Neptune and Aries. And this really stirs up an emotional vibe, a sleepy vibe, a uncertain vibe, misunderstandings, miscommunication can pop up. There can be a lot of projection, whether you're the one projecting outward or others are projecting onto you. And what's really important now is that you try to avoid as best as you can the desire to check out and escape. Because while it sounds great and feels like a temporary fix, it is just that temporary. And there's also this bigger chance for you to feel a little hazy and maybe even hung over in the morning. So just do your best to drink a lot of water, pay attention to what your body is asking of you. If you need to be in solitude and spend some time alone, do that. If you need to engage in some sort of creative medium to process any feelings, do that. But grounding exercises and movements that feel good for your body and are healthy for your body and bring you back into the physical body can be helpful.
