This is your daily horoscope for Tuesday, August 11th, 2026. All times are Pacific Standard Time. OMG. There are so many aspects just for today. I'm gonna do like a lightning round of the ones that don't really matter, okay? Because my period's coming, my mouth is dry, I've been crying all morning, and it's just what I need to do for today's horoscope, okay? So let's get into the first aspect of the day, though, because this one is a BFD. Around 1 30 a.m., Mars enters cancer. Doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo. Okay, if you just had flashbacks, it's because we had a Mars retrograde in Cancer in 2024, to early 2025, and oof, oof, whoa, such a doozy understatement. Understatement of the year. Um this time we don't have a Mars retrograde in Cancer. We are gonna have a Mars retrograde in January of 2027, and it's gonna be in Virgo and Leo. You know, don't shoot the messenger. We'll get into that in a couple weeks. Whenever Mars enters Leo, I'll start talking a little bit more of that about that. Um but Mars and Cancer, what is there to say? When Mars moves through the sign of cancer, ancient astrologers said that it was debilitated and it struggled a bit more. It was known as being in its fall. And now let me tell you, I was born with a planet in its fall, and I'm doing just fine. Okay. So even if you have a planet that is quote unquote debilitated or quote unquote struggling, don't listen to the the the hype and the hate around that. Because I think planets that are debilitated, yes. Do they have to work harder? Do they have to find alternative solutions and routes to uh achieve what they desire? Sure. They don't have as much privilege or an advantage, you know, in that way, in their um, the systems that they exist in. However, um when Mars moves through cancer, this can really be a time where we are defending and protecting those that we love and care for, whether it's our chosen family or, you know, people and neighbors who need it most. Um we're taking action from an emotional place, from the soul, right? Cancer is ruled by the moon, which has to do with not just our intuition, but our body and our mind and our soul and our spirit. So there is also this drive and extra desire to protect the land. We might see more harm going on because Mars is this planet of war and severing and separation and harm and violence. So collectively we also see spikes in nationalism um when Mars moves through cancer through cancer, um, or when there are prominent cancer transits like we saw with Jupiter and cancer. Side note, the United States birth chart has a bunch of planets in the sign of cancer, and now we're going to have Mars tracing over all of those planets. So this might be more of a time of turmoil collectively. We'll have to see how this unfolds, but it could also be an opportunity for the people to fight back, to find your people, to create family and community in your local environment, and to be bold and courageous and protect and defend those that you love. When Mars is in cancer, just personally, there's a lot more passive aggressiveness. So avoiding conflict, saying something without actually saying it, um, sidestepping and avoiding things. And we're also motivated by our moodiness. So the moon is kind of governing and presiding over Mars and Cancer's journey. So Mars and Cancer is answering to the moon. So every time the moon changes signs or has a hard or difficult aspect or a joyful and supportive aspect, that is gonna kind of dictate the flavor of Mars and Cancer. So pay more attention to the moon as Mars continues its journey through cancer. And just know that this will bring us back to similar themes and topics that came up for us in September of 2024. And again, I think in January of 2025. So it's not the cutest of transits, it's not at the worst of transits, but it's definitely an important one to take note of. Okay, here we go. Rapid fire. 2 a.m. moon enters Leo. 6 30 a.m. Moon and Leo forms a conjunction with Mercury and Leo. Communication, talking, aha moment, divination. 8 a.m. Moon and Leo, opposite Pluto and Aquarius, a big cry, feeling emotional, feeling stuck, wanting control, feeling compulsive, feeling guilty or shameful, or healing, or reclaiming your power. 8 30 a.m. Moon and Leo, trine, Neptune and Aries. Um gentle, compassionate, healing, creative, intuitive, restful. Moon and Leo, Sextile, Venus in Libra. Whew, my goodness, 9 30 a.m. Uh, sexy, fun, charming, creative, great for socializing, um, a sense of support and flow. 10 30 a.m., moon and Leo, Sextile, Uranus and Gemini, exciting, bold, risk taking, welcome change, aha moment, a solution coming in the strangest place, a welcomed invitation. 5 p.m. moon and Leo, conjunct Jupiter and Leo, moment of celebration, gratitude, support, making progress on your dreams. Oh my gosh. Okay, I'm just gonna take a sip of water because we still have three more important transits. Class is in session in September. Okay, around 6 p.m., Mercury and Leo forms an opposition to Pluto and Aquarius at three degrees. Oei. Okay, this is gonna bring us back to July 26th when the sun was opposite Pluto. My God, I had I cried all day that day. Um maybe you did too. This can definitely bring up big feelings. It can bring up feelings of whatever's taboo, guilt, shame, grief, um, whatever you've been avoiding. It shines a light and also brings mental awareness to what has been left in the shadows. And conversations can focus on power struggles, and you might have to reclaim your power and set a boundary or call someone out or disrupt an unhealthy dynamic, or maybe you have a conversation and you're being vulnerable and you're sharing something that is very personal, and that feels raw, or it feels healing. But there's definitely a lot of a desire to rely on our coping mechanisms, our survival instincts, and just this sense of feeling triggered from the conversations that take place, from the interactions that take place today. But in that, there is also this opportunity for catharsis transformation and alchemy as well. Now, fortunately, around 8 30 p.m., Mercury and Leo forms a trine with Neptune and Aries. This is taking place at four degrees and this is lovely energy. This is beautiful for divination work, this is great for resting, for having a conversation that feels healing with someone else, for using your creative mind, engaging in art activities, hobbies, connecting with people that make you feel seen, safe, nurtured, and supportive. It's great for speaking in alignment with your beliefs or making decisions that are aligned with your beliefs and your ideals as well. Now around 9 p.m., we have Venus and Libra forming a trine with Uranus and Gemini. This is taking place at five degrees. This is also lovely. Venus is our relationships, our personal values, our finances. Uranus is unexpected developments and surprises. And this is just a great time for relationships, for meeting new people, for trying new things, for trying new hobbies, for taking risks, for meeting someone unexpected, for receiving a contract or, you know, some other potential commitment or collaborative project that feels inspiring or hopeful. And it's great for changing your own relationship patterns and dynamics and embodying your values and infusing them in those relationships and showing up in bold, beautiful, new ways.
