And yes, that brings faded beginnings, faded endings to our lives, all of our lives. And it's a biggie. We haven't had a solar eclipse in Leo for quite some time, since like 2017. Grounding Aspects Before The Eclipse

Okay, the action starts out around 1:30 a.m. We have the moon and Leo forming a trine with Saturn and Aries. This is happening just before the eclipse. So this is grounding energy, it's stabilizing, it helps us lead with our maturity and responsible side. It's a great time to give reverence to your ancestors or the spirits of the land or to just stay focused on whatever needs to get done. Now, around 7:30 a.m., Mars in Cancer forms a sextile with Chiron and Taurus. This is happening at zero degrees. This is going to possibly feel a little triggering and sensitive, but it also gives you the momentum and the courage to take action on your healing journey, to choose differently, to show up in different ways. And showing up, standing up and protecting, defending who you love and your chosen family and your neighbors and what matters to you, that act in of itself can be healing and freeing.

New Moon Solar Eclipse In Leo

Now at 1036 a.m. Pacific Standard Time, we have the new moon, solar eclipse, and Leo. This is taking place at 20 degrees. If you have any planets or placements around 20 degrees of Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, or Aquarius, well, you're the main character. Solar eclipses you will read bring new beginnings. However, this is a south node eclipse. This eclipse is taking place very close to the south node, which is a point of release. And it's also important to note that in any new moons or solar eclipses that take place, we are closing out cycles and chapters. We are releasing in order to usher in a new beginning and to create space for those new opportunities and people and beginnings to enter our life. So this is an opportunity with the eclipse coming through in Leo to let go of old versions of yourself, to let go of your desire to seek approval from outside of yourself, to let go of anything that isn't authentic to you and to the version of yourself you know you are at your core. So this eclipse can feel personal and emotional, and it is taking place in the third decan of Leo, which is associated with the Seven of Wands. The Seven of Wands is this figure that is holding a stick and battling and essentially proving their worth. And sometimes they're fighting off other people who are jealous of them or throwing projections at them, and they've attained this certain level of status, and now they're proving while why they deserve it. So themes similar to that may come up for you. And maybe you have reached an accomplishment or a level of proficiency in something or recognition in a skill or at work or a milestone in your personal life, but there is still more work to be done, and you're feeling exhausted, or you are recognizing the ways in which you're giving your own power away and your own agency away by seeking the approval and acceptance of others. So this is a reminder to just root into your own authenticity and let your inner child and your inner teen, the most authentic versions of you, let that version of you lead the way.
