This is your daily horoscope for Monday, August 17th, 2026. All times are Pacific Standard Time. Now there's a lot going on in the sky today, and it all starts out around 3 a.m. when Mars and Cancer forms a square with Neptune and Aries. This is taking place at 3 degrees. If you have any planets or placements around 3 degrees of Aries, Cancer, Libra, or Capricorn, you're the main characters. Mars is a planet of war and violence and severing, but also courage and confidence and motivation. Neptune is a planet of our ideals, our spirituality, also compassion and creativity, but it also blurs and is not really solid. So it can stir up this confusing energy and haze. When Mars forms a square to Neptune, this is a moment where we are wielding our weapons for what we believe in and in alignment with our ideals. It's a moment where you might get in fights with other people based on your beliefs, or maybe you are proudly defending and protecting and standing up for what is right in some of your ideals. But we need to think about that definition of what is right for who and who is defining that, right? Collectively, this can be a time of great violence and of justifying wars and violence and actions alike in the name of spirituality. So this is something we will need to look out for as well. Now there can also be some sort of deception at play. This can also bring up projection, insecurities, and even just a feeling of gaslighting as well in some of our relationships or in other people's actions, or we really need to be aware of what's motivating us in those moments. Are we leading with projections or insecurities as well? Now around 4 30 a.m., the moon in Libra forms a sextile with the sun in Leo. Fortunately, this brings a synergy between the two luminaries, the sun and the moon, a sense of harmony and ease, and like there is some sort of plot moving along in a direction that we had hoped for. Now around 8:30 a.m., Mercury and Leo forms a trine with Saturn and Aries. This is at 14 degrees. If you have any planets or placements around 14 degrees of the fire signs, this cute aspect is for you. It's great for making a commitment. It is great for committing to a creative project, for signing a contract, to navigating boundaries in a respectful, mature way. It can give you the dedication and focus to see an idea through. Whatever you put your mind to, you have the structure and the systems in place to see it through to the end. Now at 9 a.m., we have Venus and Libra forming a sextile with Jupiter and Leo. This is also a biggie. This is taking place at 10 degrees.
