This is your daily horoscope for Friday, August 21st, 2026. All times are Pacific Standard Time. The action starts out around 12:30 a.m. when the moon and Sagittarius forms a shrine with Jupiter and Leo. This brings an element of support, of comfort, and generosity your way. This could be a moment where you're making progress on a goal, where you are feeling particularly grateful for something in your life, or maybe you're just having some excellent sleep. Now around 6 a.m., we have the main event of the day, which is Venus and Libra forming an opposition with Saturn and Aries. This is taking place at 14 degrees. So if you have any planets or placements around 14 degrees of Aries, Cancer, Libra, or Capricorn, you are the main character. Venus is a planet of connection, of our relationships, our personal values, and even our finances. And Saturn is a planet of constriction and consequences and responsibility and maturity and also dedication. Now, when Venus and Saturn are opposite each other, it brings up the need to navigate boundaries or re-establish boundaries or rework contracts in our lives. So this could be a moment where a contract breaks, a commitment ends, people separate, you go in a different direction creatively, or it could be a moment where you're kind of hashing out stuff you've ignored so you can create structure and a foundation that is more solid for your future to go on. There can also definitely be this lonely vibe that comes up when Venus is opposite Saturn. Feelings of isolation or rejection or disappointment, of feeling like our love language and our needs aren't being met in the way that we wish they were. So this is just something to be aware of and to pay attention to because eventually Mercury is going to enter Libra, eventually the Sun will enter Libra, and they're going to trace over this connection with Saturn. So this is kind of the beginning of a story that will continue to play out in the next month or two. So pay attention to what captures your attention and your focus today, and know that similar themes will be revisited in the coming months. Now later on, around 6 a.m., the moon and Sagittarius forms a trine with Saturn and Aries. And also around 6 a.m., the moon and Sagittarius forms a sextile with Venus and Libra because they are exactly opposite one another at that time. So the fact that the moon is actually forming gentle and helpful connections with these two planets at the same time, that can soften the blow a little bit. That can bring an element of perhaps there is something that's upsetting or isolating that takes place, but you seek comfort and receive what you need from a friend or a trusted loved one. When the moon meets with Saturn and Venus in a supportive way, it can help us feel grateful and secure for the relationships in our lives that show up through thick and thin, day in and day out. It can also help us create in general. So maybe there is some sort of creative impulse or idea that you want to pursue, or maybe you need to navigate a boundary, but you're able to express yourself with a little bit more charm or tact or even a performance of some sort because the moon is moving through Sagittarius.
