This is your daily horoscope for Sunday, August 23rd, 2026. All times are Pacific Standard Time. The action starts out around 6 a.m. when the moon in Capricorn forms an opposition with Mars and Cancer. This is going to be a moment of frustration, confrontation, or feeling energized or under pressure to take action or make a decision, or just being at odds with someone, or getting in an accident, like stubbing your toe. It doesn't have to be anything crazy, but it could be a moment where you're a little bit more accident prone or you're rushing and being a little bit more careless. Now, around 12 30 p.m., the sun in Virgo forms a trine with Chiron and Taurus. This is taking place at zero degrees. If you have any planets replacements around zero degrees of the Earth signs, you'll feel the benefits of this the most intensely. The sun has to do with our identity and our vitality and our ego. And Chiron is the wounded healer. It's some of the deepest pains and woundings in our life that we experience that we never fully heal from, but that we're also able to share with others and offer healing by integrating some of our lessons in the wisdom that we've experienced through time. So when the sun meets with Chiron in a gentle way, this could be a moment of feeling seen or heard or receiving that support and forgiveness or extending forgiveness or releasing something that you've been carrying so you can show up more authentically and you can feel a little bit more free in that process. The sun forming a gentle connection with Chiron asks you to be authentic, to be vulnerable as well. And it's possible that you feel seen and understood for parts of yourself that you've been scared to share or that have been rejected in the past. And that in itself can feel like a warm hug. Now, later on, around 6 p.m., the moon and Capricorn will form a square with Saturn and Aries. And around 11 30 p.m. the moon and Capricorn is forming a square with Venus and Libra. So this is actually bringing us back to Friday, August 21st, when we had Venus forming an opposition with Saturn in Aries. Now we have the moon traveling between these two planets, creating a harsh aspect and a harsh condition. So this might be a moment of frustration or picking up on some of those topics and conversations and difficult emotions that started to surface on the 21st. You might need to set a boundary, you might need to leave a relationship, you might need to tell someone no, you might need to quit something, or maybe you're just thinking more about your own time and the constraints around your time and your energy and how precious it is, and getting more realistic and honest about how you want to spend your time, who you want to spend your time with, so that it feels appreciated and valued and reciprocal in some way.
